Maybe this was one time Adam should have waited until they could reschedule. Some will voice their disappointment and others might start spreading that he was going to open for her. Which is exactly what they did with Demi when he was going to be a co-headliner like Nick was. They had a different opening act for that tour and if that were going to be Adam opening, there would have been no need to push him aside for Nick.

....”Lambert dropped the surprising news in response to a tweeted suggestion that the pair live stream together from their homes for a duet of "Just a Fool," the Lotus album track that Aguilera ended up recording with Blake Shelton; before that, Lambert had actually recorded a demo of the track.”This tells me everything I need to know...

I would bet my last dollar he is planning on Australia. I still think he'll get it all in. It's just going to be delayed. I would bet on Australia as well. The tours I mentioned are only the ones that I know about. But to be honest: There wasn’t much room for Australia... Maybe Australia would have been early next year or something like that. And frankly I don't understand why anyone thinks he would be the opening act. If someone isn't a fan of xtina I can respect that. I just don't see him doing as anything less than joint. Just my opinion.

I know Adam's promo schedule and QAL touring schedule got all screwed up this year, but it sure seems like there have been quite a few promo cycles for one thing or another. He's been doing a LOT of interviews (considering he's stuck at home lol).
Not a Xtina fan either (she's way to OTT for me), but I'm sure that would have been exciting for him. Hopefully, they can reschedule.

What I don’t get is: Adam said on one hand, that with Velvet he made this more retro kind of music with real instruments ect, , wich has a bit more of a Queen sound to it, because he also hoped that fans who got to know him through Queen would like it. And then he wants to tour with CA? How does that fit together?

Adam's fans are always talking about how they want his music to reach beyond just his fan base. A tour with Xtina, that could have potentially generated a great deal of publicity and attention, might have been one way to do that. Sometimes it's necessary to accept not getting 100% of what you want in the interest of the greater good. Of course it's possible things wouldn't have worked out as I like to think they would have - unless the tour eventually happens, there's no way to know - but that's true of most ventures. You can't know until you try. Adam is at a plateau in his solo touring; his venues are for the most part comparable to what they were during his first tour 10 years ago. I know most artists would be thrilled to be able to tour at Adam's level, but if he wanted to try something different to kick things up a notch, I can understand that.

Whether you like Xtina or not, this tour would have been great exposure for Adam to a broader audience. He's never done this before, at least on this scale. Like her or not, Xtina is still a pretty big name. Anything that gets Adam our there with his own music in some pretty good-sized venues in fine with me. I'm sure Adam is thinking the same thing. Hope this tour happens at some point. I'm sure Xtina wants it to happen, too. Good for both of them. 2020 is the year from hell.

Adam has been singing to huge audiences around the world for years with Queen. I doubt, that a tour with a female pop artist would suddenly broaden his fanbase more than that. I‘m in no way interested in CA and I cannot see her fans being all that interested in Adam. But that’s just me and I will now shut up, because I can happily say, that this won’t happen in Europe. If the tour is going to happen, I wish Adam and everyone, who goes, much fun!
