If you haven't heard Christina Auglieras finished product ( with country Blake Shelton š) of "Just A Fool", you may want to pull it up - it's gorgeous! I do think it's a bad paring with country- twang Blake, but the song is amazing and I can only imagine how beautiful it would have been with Adam's amazing voice! We can still hope!

Enrique Iglesias mostly tours and co-headlines with other Latin performers. Think Iāve seen him with Pitbull three times and with JLo once. Heās supposed to tour with Ricky Martin this fall but who knows what will happen with that. The way it usually looks, they take turns at who goes first and there is usually no on stage interaction between the two artists at all. Out of the three times with Pitbull, they performed jointly only once (one song) despite the fact they have made multiple singles together over the years. So itās like two concerts. One goes. Break to change the stage. The other one goes. The end. I agree with everything you said. It takes a lot to plan a tour and put your show together and practice with your band. The priority is not likely to be let us see how many songs Adam and Xtina can do together. That would require a whole lot of other time and attention they may not have. There will be fans of one or both who come out to see their favorite but getting the plus of seeing another put on a good show as well. If lucky, we will get to see them put on the best possible show for each. If they decide to do a song together, fine. But it is not the norm or a requirement. TBH, I would want to see Adam in all his glory. I'm not all that interested in seeing him duet with another during his set but if he does one it would be okay. I'll bet that Xtina's fans would feel the same way. You are spot on. During my years at Red Light Management, Iāve seen many of our artists do joint tours and good 98% of the time they did not perform together. The goal is to get two artists, who are more or less in the same ball park and maybe some fan base overlap, together on one bill to sell out one venue, raise ticket prices and save on venue rental, stage setup, staff, etc. Iām sure many might not like that much but this has little to do with duets, everything to do with efficiency and economics. Many artists and their bands have specific pre-show routines and having to pop on and off the stage or work around someone elseās schedule messes that up. Not saying this is what it would or wouldnāt be for Adam and Christina, just what my experience has been. Mind you, no one knows how the industry is going to change past Covid.

Exactly right. Just the buzz about this tour that will not happen anytime soon is good PR for Adam. Gives him some cred for non-fans to see that he is in the mix with a big name artist. This year was supposed to be jam-packed for Adam. Glad he's keeping himself out there with some interviews, etc. And the YATC song is a major bonus. 2021 can't arrive too soon! You know, I said that in 2019, and look what happened!!!! I had high hopes for 2020, but I'm so done already Adam is already a big name artist... he doesn't need Xtina to be big.. Nevertheless I love them both.. She's my favorite female artist while of course, Adam is my favorite male performer /artist/singer.. I can't imiagine how great having both in a concert would be.. TEARS aplenty here in Asheville for it not happening this summer.Maybe they can do something together for fans on YouTube during these dark days.

I thought I would post on a couple of positive things on this post anything monday. First of all...I opened my email to this...from our small island local arts-center. Artspring really is the cultural center of our island universe for dance, music, theatre, art and public forums. The director sent out a little "we miss you" email youtube:
My other comment is quite unrelated....but interesting, I think. While many of you feel a lot of despair at what seems like some really misguided political leadership and hyper partisanship. We have our own issues and politicians here that embarass us at times, and that seem to have little interest in the people suffering the most in these trying times. Well, the biggest city, Toronto, in our biggest province...and closest equivalent in Canada to New York in the US, had a nefarious buffoon for a mayor the same time as your Pres was elected. He was referred to he as our HeWhoCannot amed and widely ridiculed as an embarrasing alcoholic and crack addict... He died. My comments are not about him but his brother...who idiologically and physically resembles his brother....and much of the country was rather horrified that Ontario went on and elected Doug Ford after the debacle that was his brother. Unbelievable!
Fast forward to COVID and this man who so many had so little respect for and was a bit of a punchline in the rest of Canada....he has stepped up and you really have to respect the man. I still do not subscribe to his general political stance, but damn...while many people dig in and take refuge in ideology, others do indeed step up to a situation and do the right things. With humility and grit. I hope this gives solace to some who feel the world has gone nuts and see no way to solidarity again...it is possible for unlike minded people work together to solve problems. How this will change...or not...Mr Ford's way of leading remains an interesting phenomenon. But I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Similarly...our PM Justin Trudeau did some many unexpected duplicitous things since his election...but he also seems to be doing things right and with good intentions. That is the most important thing.

I understand your experience of these things and I realize that is almost certainly the case with this planned tour. But would it not be amazing to have two such voices actually work together to put on one magnificent show rather than just paste two very good ones together. It is so rare to see real innovation and courageous change agents in this business...but those who do dare to do something different, are the artists that become real ICONS . Here are a pair that could really do it right!

Adam gets more press by just breathing than many of the other artists on the radio all the time, lol. I'm not a big fan of Xtina but she can sing and is really talented and I don't dislike her. I likely would not go to her show alone but I think I would really enjoy seeing her on tour with Adam. As for Velvet, I want to hear Adam do his thing with his work. This is his best work and he worked hard on it. I want to see him deliver it without adapting his style to someone else. The same with Xtina. If they decide to do a song together I think most would enjoy it. But I want to see an Adam Lambert show in his style and voice. But I have no doubt I would enjoy her set too.

I think a good reason to have a duet at the end of both sets is to keep the āotherā fans in their seats... i am an extreme case in that I HATE Adam doing any vocal collaborations with anyone, but I would have to stick it out to see him on the stage again...

I am primarily an "Adam Only" fan. I love seeing with no distractions from his awesomeness. But I would go to an Adam/Xtina concert to see him. And I agree, lurleene, that I would want to see him perform his music HIS way, with no compromising just because he was on a tour with her. I would likely enjoy a duet between them, because their voices are both excellent. But I want ADAM to be ADAM. And I would NOT walk out on the Xtina portion of the show. I just would not feel right doing that. Besides, I would probably enjoy it. I hope this tour happens at a later time if both Adam and Xtina push for it. It's how they make their living after all.

Wow, i'm surprised at the amount of NO to xtina and Adam. I've never really been to a joined billed concert.
Not one second did i think that Adam would be an opening act or have some sub lesser role to Christina in ANY way. My feeling (full on guess, no Info or the Like) was that there was at least some joined part. I'd have Loved it If each had their good hour on their own and im the middle have a joined part of about 10-20 minutes, 2-3 Songs.

My guess is they would have been co-headliners each doing their own songs and maybe a few together. Also they would have probably rotated who came on first.
