Really interesting how tastes differ. Amongst all the knock out Idol performances "Feeling Good" was my least favorite, and thus I was not too surprised that others must have felt similarly, though I was majorly relieved that Adam stayed on. I just wasn't "feeling it" as much as the other performances, and I think I know now what it was - the white suit in combination with the pink stairs. The strut itself was sexy of course, and the vocals were immaculate, but the whole performance gave me Vegas revue vibes. NO I am not knocking Vegas, but I would have probably preferred something more "rock star", similarly to the purple coat he wore with Queen lol I actually really dislike white suites. Yeah Feeling Good was technically excellent. But Whole Lotta Love is my all time favorite idol performance. Tracks of my tears was so iconic. Not as much as arguably the besr ever on idol. Mad World. I alwaya felt Adam and Alison were the two best that season. Top 4. Kris and Danny actually their worst performances of the season. But got through. I guess its less about talent. And more of personalities. Two white Christian guys etc.

As I recall, after the episode where AFL found himself in the bottom three, Simon cautioned the voting audience 'out there' to remember that their votes counted, and they should not become complacent. I venture to say that he was implying that Adam was SO GOOD people were not bothering to vote as they had been - - - no one could compare, so 'why vote'?

I venture to say that he was implying that Adam was SO GOOD people were not bothering to vote as they had been - - - no one could compare, so 'why vote'? I was able to find some information on Zabasearch. "In past years, Zabasearch’s American Idol predictions have been incredibly accurate, prompting some critics to falsely insist that Zabasearch and the producers of the show were in cahoots. Zabasearch’s original prediction methods drew a large online following by accurately predicting the outcome of American Idol each of the last six weeks of the 2006, 2007, and 2008 seasons. Zabasearch published the correct voting results 10 hours prior to the results show airing on FOX. The site’s predictions have been covered by several publications including USA Today, Chicago Tribune, and the LA Times." www.prweb.com/releases/2012/3/prweb9332854.htmSo how does this site that had so much accuracy for the last six weeks of 3 seasons all of a sudden get it so wrong?

Those two weeks were definitely a pretty "formative" phase for my fan heart. WLL of course is a classic - unbelievable really how he managed to pull it off so convincingly and with no holding back. Slow Ride with Alison was really fun and it showed what a great duet partner Adam is. I have no memory what Kris and Danny did lol.

I also remember that Simon made a point toward the end of the show that Adam deserved to be in the finale. What a bummer really if Adam had not been there.

I remember a push by Adam's fans to place votes for Allison to keep her in the competition, as folks saw her as being a good friend of Adam's and were worried for her. Which I thought was a crazy way to go...and I thought even more so, when it may have caused the backfire for Adam's positioning after splitting those votes.
