Just watched the Brian May interview from a couple days ago. The Flash Gordon stuff was really interesting most of which I didn't know. He pointed out the health issues would have caused a problem this year no matter what. So I was most pleased to hear him say they will be ready to go next year. He pointed out that out of half a million tickets sold only 300 people requested refunds. So let's hope this works out.
I rewatched a few of the songs from last night. I will rewatch the whole thing after I get back from the dentist! I noticed at the end of the show Adam said see you next year!

Adam did a wonderful job. I didn't expect to hear any of my favorite ballads as this was to be a festive occasion and he delivered. So many great songs from Velvet for him to choose from and a few older favorites. I really hope that 2021 will see a return to live shows. I miss them so much and artists like Adam and QAL need to be seen in all their glory, lol. But this was a great on-line show and Adam kept it lively and performed with energy and joy.

I thought about requesting a refund but how they are working the refunds (for my tickets anyway) is that they don't issue the refund until after the new concert date (May 30, 2021) so since I won't get the money until next year anyway, I figured I would keep my tickets in the hopes that I will be able to fly there in May (from CA) - fingers crossed.

twitter.com/4Gelly/status/1295395478142509056In an exclusive interview with Attitude, LP, aka Laura Pergolizzi, opens up about writing about her exes (and why she should be receiving thank you notes), carving out a career as a queer artist and her friendship with Adam Lambert. Which LGBTQ artist are you most excited about at the moment and why?Adam Lambert is always exciting to me because he is really kind and cool, doing his own music, and representing another legendary LGBTQ person. His talent and the respect that it commands… I find him very dignified and inclusive and sweet. He’s a friend of mine, and I love the way he handles himself in the world.

Loved the entire performance don't know if I can pick just one. I was never a huge fan of Love Don't then Corden changed my mind lol. I think I'm going for Velvet and Roses but love love love! Ghosttown and Lay Me Down. He really just skipped the ballad type songs on Velvet. Great set list all the way around. Cannot WAIT to see him live! "Love Don't" was on Corden?? Did I miss something? Honestly, I sort of overlooked that song up until now, but i really liked it yesterday. For me, it would be very suitable to be added to the Queen setlist.

Great too see Adam perform live (sort of) again. Voice in good form. I last saw him live with Queen in wellington. Before Covid. Thankfully. Hopefully covid gets better next year. And we can see him promoting this gem of an album. Love don't is my absolute favorite. It has a pop rock alt feel. Great single choice. We can always hope, though a lot of things seem to be lined up already for QAL, in case Covid allows. I too would like proper recognition for "Velvet".

I was thinking about On the Moon. But he did Love Don't on the Grammy museum set. Got the 2 mixed up for a minute! And just rewatched the whole thing on the big screen They all looked like they are having a great time. And boy he seems so happy to do this mini concert. Can't wait for the real thing!
