I can't get enough of TSMGO video. Stunning! I was reading the comments on one of the rock publications where they normally attack. Not just Adam but almost anyone. They were surprisingly complimentary of TSMGO and admitting that Adam was really good. I almost fell out of my chair, lol. Last night I was in a mood so I pulled up some Adam videos on tv youtube. I revisited his Idol tour performances. It brought back memories of how exciting that was. Waiting for the concert videos to be posted and to see what Adam pulled out on any given night. The press loved him on that tour and saying Adam Lambert and 9 others came to town, lol. His introductions was just glorious and fit for a star. I don't know if anyone knows but I don't think anyone got the kind of introduction that Adam got. No one from his season did. And I checked out David Cook, who won the season before, and he did not get that grand introduction on Adam's level either. I think they must have known that they had something special. And what he has done in his solo career and as the frontman for Queen, they were on to something. HA! Such a great vocalist, showman and performer. Did anyone really know what was to come and on such a large worldwide stage? I'm just so proud of him. I do remember those months after Idol had wrapped and how thrilling the tour was, and there was no Adam set that I didn't watch immediately once videos became available. I think the Bowie medley alone was genius and no wonder that people went nuts. There was a lot of excitement about Adam between the Idol Finale and album release in November, and all eyes were on him. He really had the momentum going, and I do remember thinking how perfect it would be if he performed at the AMAs prior to his album coming out. Then it happened!! He even got to close the show. Yep. That and WLL had him on fire. And he was a sexy sexy OTT rock star with no dancers or other people needed for props. Just a band. And I think that was what people were anticipating and looking forward to for the AMAs even with his own material. To see the rock star throw down. But he wanted to do a pop type performance that was very different and the rest is history, lol.

It left people either gasping for air or in need of a cold shower lol. And you just had to go back for more!! I do not mean to put down FYE as a whole album, but I do remember how a lot of fans from Idol were disappointed with FYE as Adam's first single and his re-introduction after Idol. Unfortunately, I think it alienated a good portion of the established fanbase. I agree that the AMA performance that followed is history now
