Well I'm here in Sacramento. We couldn't get into the show but were able to watch from the bar. We met Tommy inside the Cafetria 15L and took pics with him. He's cute and shy and little!! We went outside standing around. NEar the parking lot trying to upload my pic with tommy. We were there for about ten minutes and all of a sudden Adam, Tommy and a couple of other people came walking around the corner!!!! Adam slowed down and was looking at me and u said "hi Adam"! That caught my friends attention coz they were looking in the other direction!!! We asked for a picture and he was going to do individual pix but his people were rushing him , so we did a group picture!!! He's sooooo handsome!
Only problem is that the only picture was taken using a random lady's camera who we don't know!!!! She doesnt have an email so we gave her all our info and asked her to please get us copies of the picture!! So my first picture with Adam EVER and I dont know if I'll ever see a copy of it again!!! OH and I met Hoopla and she is in the picture too!!!
My friend and I showed up at the downtown Sacramento restaurant [Now 100.5] Cafeteria 15thL about 2 hours before we were to be let in the doors. No one was in line, so we got some coffee. When we came back, there was a couple from near Placerville waiting in line. After approximately 20 minutes radio station people arrived and were let into the restaurant. We then asked if we could wait inside and they had us sit in a lounge area outside the performance space. Four ladies were already in the lounge area that must have arrived when we got our coffee. Cards were passed out by the radio station people and we were instructed to write questions for Adam on them. More radio people and 2 security people arrived and we were moved out of the lounge area and told to stay in the bar area. My friend and I stayed at the end of the bar closest to the performance lounge. We could see through the glass performance space doors when Adam and Tommy did the sound check. We could not hear with the doors closed because he was unmiked. He was wearing a gray baseball cap. Black jeans with threadbare patches and his Skingraft charcoal leather vest. We had to show our ID to a radio person who found us on a list of winners and we were allowed to bring our guest in. We were the first into the performance space and picked the front left center seats because we knew that Adam usually sits on Tommy Joe's right side. We were then told by the DJ that they had originally set the chairs farther from the stage and more spread out, but that Adam wanted this to be an intimate performance and had them bring the chairs closer and that he intended to sit on the edge of the stage. That announcement sent a ripple of excitement through the crowd. The DJ pointed at me and said that Glamberts would kill for a seat like that. Adam then walked in with Tommy and sat on the edge of the stage. Tommy sat crosslegged and in stocking feet on the stage. Adam's feet were about 12 inches from mine. He was wearing the low heeled gray work boots ( I think they are Rick Owens). With Adam so close to me, I decided not to try to film anything because I thought it would be rude to him. The DJs then picked 2 questions out of the stack. They asked Didilyn's question first. It was about all the charity work that he had done and what had he bought for himself this last year. He stated that when he first came off idol that he was told he could have a Ford Focus. He said that he told them that he was not a Focus kind of guy. He was then given the Mustang which he just grew tired of and he bought himself a BMW. I then asked him if it was a convertible and he said no. They then asked the second question which was my question. I referred to the drawing he made in Berlin and asked if he had ever taken any art classes. He said that he had never taken any classes. I told him that it had so many layers to it and that I was very impressed. He stated that it was just a doodle. I told him that he would not believe how much that drawing had been dissected on our forum. He said, "believe me, I know." He then sang BTIKM and WWFM. He sang in the softest, most delicately nuanced voice without a microphone. He kept his eyes moving throughout the song so that everyone would feel that he was singing for them personally. I just sat transfixed throughout staring into his aquamarine eyes. It truly was an out of body experience. It felt like he was performing in my living room. It was over too quickly and we were told that Adam had a very busy schedule and that we needed to take pictures four at a time. My friend and I were third and fourth up on the stage so the spots next to Adam were already taken and we had to squeeze in from the sides. Adam has a long reach and did manage to put his had on my upper back. The pictures are on the 100.5 website now. Since other people are in them, I don't want to bring them over without their permission. I am the person with the black shirt with the gold swirl design.Some people gave Adam gifts and were able to say a few extra words to him. I did manage to interject that we would appreciate some tee shirts with his sketches on them. I am not sure if he heard me though. Adam disappeared into a private room with a security guard outside. A couple that I think were his Aunt and Uncle were ushered in. The radio station then served some food and I enjoyed briefly chatting with Didilynn and her friend. Adam looked remarkably rested for having been on such a grueling tour. (I think that my friend is now under Adam's spell too.) Sorry for being so long winded. Scroll is your friend!

Yikes Virgo - I think it was my friend and I that pushed you out of standing next to Adam - I think we were the #1 and #2 - I AM SO SORRY BUT ADAM JUST HAS A MAGNETIC PULL AND YOU HAVE TO STAND AS CLOSE TO HIM AS POSSIBLE!
Also, Virgo - I was the first one there this morning! I was there at 9 am - but it was cold, raining and I was standing outside all alone, so I went across the street to the Marriott to wait for people to arrive - I saw you arrive and the other couple also. Finally, saw the radio people get there and walk right in. So we decided to go wait inside (Justkaren & Hoopa were with me hoping they could get in if someone didn't show up). So we were the first ones waiting.
I was also sitting in front row but more in front of Tommy - but didn't really notice him haha.
I wrote 2 questions on cards (one was for crazylady) but they picked mine first! My question was not the one about the car Virgo. My question was: You made yourself a gorgeous bowtie for the Elton John Oscar party; have you ever made yourself any other clothing or accessory items? He looked right at me *swoon* and thought for a minute and said no, not really (not sure I believe that haha) - and I complimented him on the work on the bowtie. Then they asked the questions about buying himself something and about his Berlin "doodle" - that's it. They asked 3 questions and no interview or much interaction with radio personnel.
Adam said he heard his single on their radio station for the first time last night, he seemed happy about that. Then the radio guy asked "does that ever get old" (I was like WTF?) and Adam said "no, it doesn't get old, that was the first time I've heard it so no" hahahaha he cracks me up.
I took a few photos (I think Gelly posted them all) but mostly I just sat and absorbed the intimate concert. You could hear a pin drop while he was singing (although someone dropped their phone during ugh). I was sitting next to 2 girls - 1 high school, 1 college who had never heard him sing live. They were thrilled!
Justkaren & Hoopla didn't get to come in the room - they said the radio people weren't very nice about it either. And there was plenty of room in there - booths lining the walls that were empty. Sad for them. But we all had fun at the bar after (while Adam & Tommy were in a back room eating). Met a really cool mother and 13-year-old daughter; daughter was a big fan; mother videotaped the whole thing so we might get that.
They did serve us a nice buffet lunch after and I celebrated with a cosmo in the middle of the day woo-hoo!
Unfortunately I had a 2 hour drive in the pouring rain - got so tired after that cosmo, I had to stop for coffee ;D
Adam was with us maybe 30 minutes but it was a sublime 30 minutes.
As Didilynn mentioned in her recap, Hoopla and I didn't get into the M&G at Now100.5. Actually, the M&G was not at the radio station, it was in a restaurant downtown. When we first arrived there were chairs on the stage for Adam and Tommy ... after everyone was seated I couldn't see the chairs, so I assumed they were off to the side where I couldn't see them from my position at the bar. Later I learned that Adam asked for the audience chairs to be moved closer to the stage, and then he sat on the edge of the stage, for a more intimate feel. Unfortunately, that put him below my line of sight.
As you can see, there was lots of empty space at the back of the room, and I am sitting some 30 feet or so beyond the glass doors. I could have watched from outside the doors, but the radio folks wouldn't let us come any closer.
An interesting side note ... the sound system in the bar area was too loud for us to hear what was going on inside, but at one point the sound system played WWFM.
Hi, guys! This is old news, but since it's a sort-of slow day, I thought it'd be okay to just put it here...(don't have time to go find the exact right thread.) NEW(only?) video of A performing at NOW100.5 in Sacramento 3/18/12! 10.5 minutes of relaxed hat-Adam singing and talking! He sings BTIKM, answers 3 questions from fans and chats with them, then sings WWFM. Close-up starting at 8:00 is really nice! I didn't witness this--I was on the other side of the glass, but did get a pic with Tommy and Adam after. It was a dreary day in Sac, but Adam brightened things up! The vid was taken by a mom there with her 8th grade daughter who LOVES Adam and who is going to get to see him at Endfest Friday night for her 8th grade graduation gift! There is an abundance of news right now and this is just a small thing, but I got the "Frikvarter" magazine yesterday and scanned the two pages (Frikvarter is a free magazine distributed to 1200 schools). I don't have time to translate it but there is basically nothing new, except a little bit about Denmark and Christiania which he didn't visit but some of the band did - I think I can guess why And he gets the capital of Denmark right! I don't know if it quite makes up for the Scotland/Ireland thing, but it's impressive as we are such a small country and we're not used to people knowing a lot about us
Last thing before I have to go again - the Danish release date for TP is 14 May according to a web journalist. He tweeted about the snippets and the release. When I asked him, he wrote to me that US releases on Tuesdays usually mean Monday releases here so I'm crossing my fingers!
