Yay, told you Jazz, that Adam should be getting at least 5-10 adds today. I think we're still waiting on a few more auto adds to report right?

So, what's the deal with HAC jumping on the song first? Not that I'm complaining exactly, just curious. NCOE seems so clearly to be a CHR/pop song. I thought this would be a song that would move up the pop chart first and then cross over to HAC. Radio station politics at work I guess.
Anyway, happy for all the adds! And all the daytime spins---that's huge.

I kind of remember the same thing happening with IIHY, maybe they didn't jump on board first but definitely right along side of CHR which kind of surprised me because that was much more obviously a dancey track and I thought they would have lagged behind CHR a bit with it. Maybe they are just eager to show the fans that they really do support Adam.

My guess is that it is because BTIKM was a moderat hit on HAC. many of these stations played BTIKM and now they are stopping playing it and start to spin NCOE. Adam was basically away from CHR for 2 years and he is not an estabilished artist on CHR, so it will probably move slow on CHR.

You guys realize that today is only the 2 week mark from when it went to i-Tunes. And tomorrrow will be the 2nd week it's been available for CHR's add day? As for Q102, it appears it likes to add on adds date. At least that is what they did for Stronger and BTIKM. Even though Stronger had almost 100 adds in its first 2 weeks, Q added on the official date.

Adam was basically away from CHR for 2 years and he is not an estabilished artist on CHR, so it will probably move slow on CHR. Exactly! Adam already had a "base" to work with on HAC. BTIKM at least made it to the top 20 on HAC. Many of the stations he visited on his radio tour were HAC stations. HAC stations will be the first to add because he had a semi-successful single there recently. Pop is a case of trying to get the stations to consider giving NCOE a try after a failed single on CHR stations. It's going to be a harder road and it would have been the same way with any single they had picked off of this album! (Unless Adam has some single he hasn't told us about with Rihanna. ) This is the reality of the situation. HAC is going better and faster this time. Things look better with Canada. CHR is going to be a long, tough road- like it is for most artists who haven't had a song on the Pop charts for two years.

Canada is so cool - again! I won't mention CHR because I understand they won't jump on the song immediately. Although it sounds PERFECT for CHR to me. But right now? Yay for HAC! I'll flail more at 6:05. :D
