Hello, wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experiences purchasing tickets. I skipped the Adam resale code and used Queen's based on some of your comments. The first tickets offered for Denver were surprisingly crappy. I kept throwing them back, and even timed out once because I forgot to set up an account in advance. Wound up with row AA section 126 on the side off the floor which I'm very happy with. I'm about 5' tall so beyond the first few rows in orchestra I'm usually staring at the back of someone's head while balancing in heels on my seat.
I have been fortunate enough to see Adam on the Idols tour as well as twice solo and am very excited to finally see QAL!! Good luck to all who are still buying tickets today!

Kudos to that interviewer. Obviously she's a fan, but it's great seeing someone well prepared for an interview. Adam probably appreciated it!

Looks like he's going to perform live on that station. I can see a stage set up in background!

I rarely post but the topic tonight has touched a nerve because I feel strongly about it. Yesterday, when Adam got a few minutes of tv airtime in San Diego, at one point the camera panned to some fans dancing behind glass in the studio and I winced. I felt sorry for Adam because there was not one person anywhere near the station's demographic in sight. They interviewed one older woman in her car who said if she didn't get to speak with Adam she was going to drive to San Francisco! I'm sure Adam has a warm place in his heart for the fans who have stuck with him and believed in his incredible talent over the past 6 years, but if the same fans think they're impacting his chances at radio exposure positively by following him from city to city and grabbing all the M&G opportunities they're naive or blinded by their own entitlement. Radio is really important and I'd hate to see the efforts being put forth by Adam and his team - who seem to be doing everything right - being thwarted by some of his biggest fans. And the time of day an event is held wouldn't stop any teenager or college student from blowing off class to attend. Other people have already made these points quite well and I hope the "repeat offenders" will give it some serious thought.

My handle should probably be latenightlurker but wanted to peek in and say many thanks for the yummy cake and kind birthday wishes! Now I think I'll go vote and hopefully help keep Britney's fans at bay...

Put the two posts together -- the mashed potatoes interpretation by ladyoz and the mini gif by chapf -- and this is the funniest post in ages!! Those two cute little dancing heads are hard to stop looking at. I don't know if I could handle Adam being on Dancing With the Stars. If he doesn't win I might need therapy cause I'm still mad about the last time!

I was on the festival.iheart.com website, and in order to see the full lineup for Friday, you had to click through photos of the 19 acts. So 19 clicks later I finally get to Queen and Adam Lambert, and they're showing a very nice photo of Queen from the 1970's - and no Adam. A nice little cameo pic of Adam would have been nice along with the larger Queen pic - even one with the dreaded Melvin as a reward for giving them 19 hits! Hopefully if they are selling programs and other paraphernalia at the concert Adam will be pictured.

Don't know where the EMA hosting came from but I'm sure you talented ninjas will let us know for sure! That would be freakin awesome. Just listened to the Seacrest interview and I liked how Adam took control at the end there and made sure to get in a comment about his music as Ryan started wrapping the interview up. I too liked that Ryan referred to him as a kid since that is an important demographic for anyone in the music industry.
Thanks for making it easy to give Titanium a few hits and to listen to the interview on Seacrest's website!

I was kind of surprised to see how many tickets are available for Adams show on July 19. Not selling very well for such cheap tickets :( As heavily populated as California is, the area where this concert is taking place does not have a lot of people (about 250k in the whole county) by California standards. It's roughly a 3 hour drive without traffic from the huge metro areas of San Fran or LA - or an airport for that matter - so it's a bit isolated. Having said that, it's an absolutely beautiful area of the country and I wish I could go!
