Totally OT but there were two 'Adam songs' on the voice tonight. Cher's 'Believe' and Jordan sang 'Somebody to Love'. Adam Levine said 'That's one of the best thing I've ever heard'. When instructing Jordan in rehearsal Levine totally copied Adam's 'love' rift which makes me think he has seen our Adam sing it. Jordan didn't do anything like the rifting our Adam does, who could? Jordan's rendition was great but not in the same class as our Adams IMO. I'm kind of pissed off that Jordan will get all these accolades on prime time tv when there are so many better QAL versions on youtube. IMITATION is the highest form of flattery but why can't these people even mention Adam Lambert's name? I don't understand how they refuse to acknowledge him and his supreme talent, yet copy everything he does. Duh!
On an up note, Adam really brought it tonight. He outdoes himself from one show to the next...he is not from this planet. (But the Phoenix show will always remain near and dear to my heart.)
And THANK YOU to the wonderful folks who bring us the streams and great videos. Through your generosity, Adam fans from around the world can share in the excitement of each show while it happens and a for thousand times after. Love you guys!!!!!

Adam and the top 13 AI contestants sang this song, and Carlos Santana made it a point to shake Adam's hand during the performance. Adam Lambert and Carlos Santana - Smooth - Finale - 20/05/09 - Latinglamberts Arg www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y07lnFrGatwI've never seen that before, cheers. What's the story behind the handshake there, why only Adam's hand, is there some history there? I've not seen AI, only clips since getting into Adam. It was only yesterday I saw Adam's take on A Change Is Gonna Come, love the original, love Adam's version. My eyes may be deceiving me but at the time and even seeing the replay, it looks like Adam is handing him another guitar pick. Just my perspective.

Thanks, cassie. I got quite a thrill thinking about your opera singer friend and her assessment of Adam's technique, thanks for sharing. SHP (ride) satisfied wrote: Not just you, I thought that look encapsulated it all, ...I'm singing at a country music award show, I'm gay, this song has about a thousand different levels because a gay guy is singing it, I'm in on the joke, I think you are too, but damn if I'm not gonna blow the roof off this place and surprise you. Because aside from anything else, I can SANG. Or maybe I'm over-interpreting. But there was definitely (to me) a twinkle and a wee bit of challenge in his eyes. And a lot of confidence. He knows what he can do. Perfect analysis of that glance. You could also add... so what do you think now, Simon Cowell and Randy Travis?

Adam sings country music! And blows it away! Did you hear the audience response to his high riffing? He knocked them off their seats. OMG! He knocked me OUT OF MY SEAT, too! My visit to Heaven was over too soon. You showed 'em, Adam! And the two voices together melted my heart!!!!
Maybe he can add this to the set list tomorrow night

Super excited, too, and I think it's because this is the beginning of the next leg of the NEW ERA! Adam said in his snap chat that he's "on tour" - This is it, everybody...it is really STARTING!!!!!
I'm so excited, I messed up two posts. OK, that's it for me tonight. Sorry sizzling63.

What a STAR! His voice was like butter, so smooth and rich. And he looked stunning in that magnificent suit!!! Can hardly wait to see and hear him in Phoenix. Loxie! Atop is getting together at the hotel at 5:30ish and then at the theatre at about 6:30.. See you there? Probably see you all at the venue since my DH will be along - both of us after a long day working. We'll be in Section A8, so I'll try to say Hello to people who look familiar from videos and Fantasy Spring concerts.

No way that turkey carver is Eber! Whoever that is, looks like he's been pruning the rose bushes! LOL! How about Leila's friend? Although I'm not sure he'd be playing with rose bushes.
