So I think we are in the neighborhood of day and a half from releasing the live acoustic video and it's hit half a million. I think it's trending pretty well with the original release. It's 1am on 3/1/19 Eastern Time.

This is so funny. I thought I was the only one that the drums on the Live Video bothered. At parts they sound like somebody banging on a table. I hated to mention it since nobody else mentioned it...lol He looks gorgeous and sang beautifully....but the darn drums..... The drums bothered me, but everything else was so good that I decided to ignore them. Not a specialist, but I think using drum brushes instead of sticks would have helped. Or whatever percussion instrument Isaac Carpenter used to bang on. OTOH, it helps underscore the live aspect of it - look ma, no computers! To me it sounded like the drum they do with the foot petal so a bit hard to dampen unless they put a blanket on it. Interesting that Adam even bothered to answer. But seeing the BTS shot they really did it live with all the effects too. I thought maybe they put in the billowing curtains and some of the light flairs after shoot but the BTS shows them. Do we know who the camera/director is? Was it Lee Cherry again?

It's kind of strange that Adam hasn't done the Carpool Karaoke thing by now. James Corden really likes Adam and they've done two big segments on his show together. The Who is the Better Front Man thing and the Super Bowl thing. Both were really fun. Seems to me he'd be a logical guest to do the Karaoke. I was thinking about this yesterday and have decided that he has been asked but that it would make more sense and have more of an impact after the new album (or at least a couple more songs) comes out. He's done Queen songs and maybe they are good enough buddies by now to wait for new music. So since the Jonas boys are under the same management, they've got new music coming out tomorrow. Should be on Carpool Karaoke tonight.

I don't know what the plans are for "Feel Something" (teaser or no) but I do believe they must have some plans to capture so much excitement and praise for Adam's extraordinary song and delivery. I hope they would not just let this drop off the map like many of his releases that were just put out there with little support. ADAM LAMBERT'S SOOTHING LIVE PERFORMANCE OF 'FEEL SOMETHING' IS BEAUTIFUL www.mtv.com/news/3114952/adam-lambert-feel-something-performance/?xrs=_s.tw_newsShosh replied "and his new management" when somewhat posted the tunes performance and other appearances was due to Empire. I'm taking that to mean raising his profile and that things like the instagram chat, the rollout of a new thing each day or each week more appearances will be part of the forward mix of keeping him in the public eye.

He doesn't have to keep his opinions at a nice safe enthusiastic but don't rock the boat with suggestions level anymore now that he's not working at Idol. Did we find out if he was working the Oscars? I kind of doubt it since the musical performances all brought their own equip except for Bette Midler.

Aw, they both looked really good. Javi seems to be a very smart and mature young man. Adam is the celebrity and the one they would want to talk to. He knew exactly what to do but also got to enjoy this special night with Adam. I also enjoyed one of the earlier videos where he was rocking out while Adam was on stage performing and the one with them seated together. I'm glad they had a great evening. The people who kept wanting to talk to Adam were told something at the end about why he couldn't talk to the. Couldn't understand what it was. Anybody hear it? She said he was just doing these two. It seemed he had contracted stops with certain outlets. Makes sense or he'd be talking all night. Perks of being top level at least for the events. I never did see Brian or Roger on the red carpet. Joe Mazzelli was on later in the long video but down the carpet aways so you couldn't here talking.

The article on Billboard immediately following this one on the live video also mentions Adam. No Shade to Pop Allies, But It's Time for Pride Festivals to Book More LGBTQ Artists - which was also published today. And if you’re still concerned about popularity, there is a laundry list of out musicians making waves in the industry to choose from: Troye Sivan, Halsey, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monáe, Tegan & Sara, Adam Lambert, Kehlani, Hayley Kiyoko and dozens of others have found mainstream success while being out and proud.

He learned after a few first year disasters to not trust makeup artists. The two that come to mind are when he met Kesha at the party and Oprah. I also wonder if someone else got hold of him for the EMAs. When he does it himself, or someone who does him consistently instead of a one timer, everything looks great.
