A little OT (sorry guys) but for all the Dr. Bri followers, his tweets, retweets, and his soapbox regarding his love of badgers, animals in general, and all of the causes he fights for in England are pretty noteworthy. I don't even know if we have badgers in the United States. He's really fired up this week, LOL. Somebody wrote on Twitter something like Brian May for Prime Minister. He seems to really hate the current PM. Q3 comment: A request. Let's not get into a discussion of UK politics or the issues with ISIL/ISIS. Just say a prayer or two -- and then let's get back to the music. [It took all of my strength not to comment on this today.] I'm not interested in commenting on UK politics or discussing any other kind of politics here... but I must say I'm hugely impressed with Dr Bri's social activism! After what most would consider a pretty grueling summer of traveling around the world and performing nonstop, the man jumped back into the fray as soon as he got off the plane back in England. God I love him. That is all. That is what I was getting at but you said it much more eloquently than I. Thank you! I don't want to discuss politics either beyond what I said but his social activism is quite impressive. I have mad and unwavering respect for the man. He is an amazing human being.

OT, in answer to the Badger question -- yes, we have Badgers in the US (and Canada) -- in most states. Yes, we hunt them. The American badger (Taxidea taxus) is a North American badger, somewhat similar in appearance to the European badger. It is found in the western and central United States, northern Mexico, and south-central Canada to certain areas of southwestern British Columbia. They are protected in Canada and California -- In May 2000, the Canadian Species at Risk Act listed both the Taxidea taxus jacksoni and the T. t. jeffersonii subspecies as an endangered species in Canada. The California Department of Fish and Game designated the American badger as a California species of special concern. I have little knowledge of the European badger but the American badger will attacked people and has no real predators. (Wolve will kill and eat small, young or old badgers if they have no better options.) They are solitary animals and need a very large area per badger. Badgers have moved into central PA and most of Ohio. They will eat almost anything -- According to Wiki, "The American badger is a fossorial carnivore. It preys predominantly on pocket gophers (Geomyidae), ground squirrels (Spermophilus), moles (Talpidae), marmots (Marmota), prairie dogs (Cynomys), pika (Ochotona), woodrats (Neotoma), kangaroo rats (Dipodomys), deer mice (Peromyscus), and voles (Microtus), often digging to pursue prey into their dens, and sometimes plugging tunnel entrances with objects. They also prey on ground-nesting birds, such as the bank swallow or sand martin (Riparia riparia) and burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia), and lizards, amphibians, carrion, fish, skunks (Mephitis and Spilogale), insects, including bees and honeycomb, and some plant foods such as corn (Zea mais), peas, green beans, mushrooms and other fungi, and sunflower seeds (Helianthus)." Wisconsin is the Badger State. But that was not originally for the animals. Thanks! I guess I should have known some of that. I'm originally from OH so I should know that they're common there as well. Interesting stuff.

Sorry Q3 I agree that Queen should be the only established band that Adam collaborates with. I would love to see a duet with Pink! Something big and cool for a special performance. I agree about Queen. It is something special and another band wouldn't be satisfactory. Collaborations with other solo artists is a great idea, but they have to have at least a somewhat decent voice. Pink is a great choice.

As an outsider in the guitarist debate, my perspective is that most session/touring musicians are average or even mediocre. There are very few living guitar masters that are ever talked about and there is only one Brian May. To try to compare anyone else to him or someone of his caliber isn't really fair to those other guitarists. In other words, only one band has ever had the luxury of having a Brian May full time. Nonetheless, Adam deserves at least a better than average guitarist for his solo work. I have always thought that Adam's touring band (in all of its incarnations) was just fine for a solo artist tour. Yes, I have preferences -- like I thought Adam + Zac Baird was a very compatible combination. Zac understood that he was there to accompany Adam or Korn which is his main touring gig. When I go to see an Adam concert, I am there to see Adam and I want his band to support him. ** Right now, all I really want is a lot of opportunities to see Adam live with a band so I can spend time critiquing the "drummer of the day"! ** I really like Adam + dancers. I really like Adam and a set and back-up singers (although I want them to be in the background). I really want Adam with a huge album and hits so he can tour in arenas and have his own big show. ** Regarding great guitarists -- I would really love to hear Adam + Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones (half of Led Zeppelin). I do not want a tour, but how about a special event performance of WWL and "Black Dog". They also have no lead singer. And they also have never been the same since the death of John Bonham (their drummer, best hard rock drummer ever, 1980). Robert Plant has moved on and can't sing these songs anymore -- so not dead, but def gone. I know this is not happening, and it might be very bad for Adam's career, but it would be beyond epic. ETA: I do have a question -- my dream collab is about Adam + Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. [They really are trying to find a new temporary frontman.] What is your dream collab? It already happened and it was/is spectacular from start to finish.

Just catching up after some time away.......... Ummmmm...... the pics and vids from that private birthday event.....gotta say..... gave me an awkward 'petting zoo' vibe. And I'm still pissed that the guy that teased fans saying he shot video of all the songs and then intentionally held back on posting 'Wildest Moments', even when Shosh gave the go ahead....... Yeah, still pissed! Got 'Live at the Rainbow'.......... it's soooooo goooood!!!! My Rainbow box set is coming tomorrow. Cannot wait!!! I heard the sound is incredible. Did you watch the DVD?

Morning guys! Just wanted to add to the above list, nothing new really, but without the QAL tour, I would probably not given Adam the attention that he so deserves. I am so grateful for the tour, for what it brought to the guys, and for what it brought to so many people throughout the world. Not to mention discovering new fan boards and meeting new people! I have to thank Brian, Roger, Adam, Jim Beach, and the entire QAL team for taking the plunge. It was and is so worth the loss of sleep and time spent watching videos and viewing photos!
