Here every day, too....first place I go to in the morning. I don't always have time to post or even log on, but I'm usually here reading. Many thanks from me, too....keeping us in the Adam loop. And thanks for posting that Love Kills, Graciejane....wow I have yet to take that majestic voice for granted. He still manages to give me chills every time I hear him sing. ILHSM Ditto to all of the above. I don't post much either but it's my "first thing in the morning and last thing at night" . Love you guys and love this group.

The music industry has changed from the expected path. Like it or not, top 40 radio is only going to play the 20 somethings. Gaga is not there. P!nk is a little there. Katy Perry is not going to be there. I believe these artists will move to marketing to streaming. I can't put my finger on it, but I see Adam moving from pure pop to something more mature. A Change is Gonna Come. I hope I have to eat my words but have you Really listened to top 40 radio? I spent the summer with my granddaughters and their friends ages 10-14 and that's what top 40 caters to. They listen to the young, "dreamy" kids with repetitive lyrics that they can sing along to and it is the same songs over and over. They also tend to like sad, lovesick music. Typical pre-teen stuff. Isaiah is actually the perfect age for those girls. You really don't hear a lot of quality vocals (and don't even get me started on Adele). I will admit however, that my girls love Welcome to the Show (and we are back to repetitive lyrics again) but at least they know Adam Lambert. A couple of thoughts: I think Adam's music is ahead of it's time. I've noticed that FYE and Trespassing seem to be fitting into today's music, now. I've noticed that his numbers keep going up on the early music. It's like they have a life of their own and never get old, unlike a lot of artists. Personally, a number 1 single isn't what I'm focusing on...I'm thinking concerts, specials, movies, TV and someday I hope, Broadway. That beautiful voice really shines live, with an audience. Okay...'m rambling but ...

I don't think Adam and Sam will do a vocal collaboration either. But I would love to see Adam do some less dance oriented tunes for his next album (love his EDM collab features tho). Some Fallout Boy, Imagine Dragon, or One Republic type songs. Adam can out sing and out perform all, Imo. Something a little more rockish without full on rock and some great ballads where he can let it rip. This could get him some nominations and wins if he starts competing against the adults instead of those kids and ladies who dominate pop. Fallout Boy type acts get nominations outside of pop tho they cross over and get a lot of pop radio play, sometimes going to the top of those charts. The best of both worlds. Of course, I will be on board with whatever he decides to do. There have been some beautiful songs on his albums. I could scream when I think of what didn't get promoted on Trespassing. There are some really wonderful songs on that and it is still the one I listen to the most.

I got my first tattoo a couple of weeks ago and it is this treble and base clef heart. Something about that this just called to me. Guess I'm not the only one.

I've always been very liberal. But over the years, and esp. since knowing Adam, I've added a layer of understanding to my attitude. I used to be more likely to say, "Gay people should be accepted like everyone else, but perhaps they shouldn't "flaunt" their sexuality or make it obvious." I have moved beyond that attitude to how I feel now. No gay person should have to hide who they really are if they choose not to. The spectrum of sexuality is so broad and sweeping. Some gay people simply cannot hide their natural persona. I think Johnny is one of them. Adam moves smoothly from one world to another, adjusting himself (I assume) with perception and ease in any situation. Not every gay person is like him. Nor should they have to be. Anybody, gay or straight, can be a jerk or act rudely or inappropriately. That's a human trait, not restricted to one's sexuality. Johnny may be too feminine for some, but it's who he is and he shouldn't have to hide it. He is hurting no one. He's Adam's friend, and he is accepted by those who love him. I agree with the above and just wanted to say how truly loving and remarkable Adam is with all people everywhere.. He is truly a humane ,evolved human being.. I so admire him Very interesting discussion and I'm so happy we feel safe talking about these things; that's how we grow and open our minds. I'm just happy that Johnny or anyone can be who they are. He just looks so "free" in that video. I guess that was what was so special about that vacation. No need for masks.
