great idea skashep! I love Adam for being inspiring and real\genuine. I love him for making me see my love for music and inspiring me to embrace my being different and not see it as a burden anymore. As an artist i love his versatility and ofc he's my vocal HERO

Wow, so not only can Adam play with his voice's textures while he's singing, but also while talking. That's pretty remarkable, IMO. He can do animal impressions very well too, so...but yes, he is a glamelion in more than one way

One difference I noticed in elections in the US opposed to elections in Germany. Today I saw a big article about Pete in our newspaper, second page. Big picture. Pete, his husband and of course the dog. Americans seem to want/need that family picture with a dog and the family appears in the back smiling at public events; in Germany a lot of people don't know that Angela Merkel is married. Just something I noticed although maybe it's not bad to have an impression of the family and know who you're voting for just like you're not just marrying the spouse but the whole family...at least that's the saying in Germany lol.

Good point about celebrities being over looking pretty all the time. Justin Bieber would be an example, as much as I love him and he has a soft spot in my heart and I wish him all the best. Cody Simpson also told people to take a step back, when he grew out his hair and some weren't liking it.
I've noticed this more with actors, they look so cool and stylish in their movies but they can't seem to get their shit together when they aren't shooting.
That said I'm also one of those people who just loves comfortable clothes when you're not doing anything special and for instance just hang around at home and study for exams or so.

[ Since I'm sorta new to the Adam Lambert experience, the line above is actually a great piece of advice. Thanks! I've been a fan for 10 years now, and it really is great advice...things change constantly in Adamland...one of the reasons it's so much fun, IMO. And that's coming from a person that HATES change in her personal life lol. I live vicariously through Adam. Haha same here, I'm definitely more consistent in my life... Interesting point onetimeI think it's a constant internal struggle how much you want to compromise yourself, water it down in order to appeal to a wider audience or keep artistic integrity. I think this not only goes for his music but for his image/look as well.

It is a rather badly lit photo we're talking about and we know Adam can change his appearance in a second...
After being jumpy the first two years of being a fan I've come to the conclusion to 'trust a bith' and simply take everything as it comes...
To add never did i think you're a troll. And i do understand part of where you're coming from.
Cheers

Gotta agree...not liking the look is one thing but calling it disrespectful to queen is quite stark. Freddie had long hair as well and yes, i know Adam isn't the confounder of the band, yes but I think Adams respect comes through on his being professional in his work with them, making sure he takes care of himself so he can perform, that he brings his musical skills, his performance skills, that he's able to do his shit live and enables queen on the level they are
This might come of as little stronger written than it is meant
Love 'n light

Just a little story...i sent the 'feel something' live video to my musician friend, she called Adam a vocal god...it prompted her to rewatch Adams cover of 'believe' and she said she thinks it's the best she heard of him

SophieB Dr. Sir Brian May...or Sir Dr Brian May? svca mean either! I keep imagining what it would be like but...no...maybe if that person was in the band as well, part of the team (management, pr), tour photographer if that works for you as a couple or if the person had a profession that was independent of location like software/app design...but stil alot of focus will inevitably be on the celebrities career...on top of that i can't imagine being on tour at all...your whole life is kind of on a hold and intensely focused on those two hours each day...ok sorry, this got longer than I intended 😅
