ribbons/badges are more often pinned on the left because the wearers are right handed and it is easier to pin in on the left. Adam is a lefty - probably just easier for him to pin it on the right side... All conjecture....
I always pin badges, etc on the right, even as a right hander, because it is the side of the body that people look to when shaking your hand....
what a great day this has been - such wonderful music - and excitement tomorrow as well...Has "it" truly begun???

I am soooo bored! Adam, we need some REAL NEWS, NOW! In the meantime, I watched the wonderful Cuckoo video. And I have been watching the multi-cam QAL videos by Mark. To me, Adam is a different character/persona when he is performing on his own, his music, and when he is fronting for Queen. For QAL, he is still Adam, but he seems like he is taking on the role of Rock God. Sort of like playing Starchild, and then playing Elliott. Does anyone else get that impression from watching the videos? It is not a criticism or a complaint. Actually, it is a compliment on how he can transform himself to fit the situation and the music. What do you think? I think it is Adam, but with an EXCELLENT ROCK BAND and group of musicians who have their own strengths, talents, skills and know how to play to, for and with him. He can concentrate on his skill in interpreting and expressing the music and reach into the depths of the song without worrying if the band can "keep up". He is different in front of Queen, I agree...but this is him, in all his artistry and this is still another step in his growth toward an even more iconic Adam.
Though I thoroughly enjoy Adam and his music, he can only do soooo much with that music without the right backing band..IMO we see a different Adam doing his own music, because he has to "carry" the load and with Queen he does not... I personally would love to see the Queen musicians playing and interpreting some of Adam's music/songs - I believe the music would be beyond AWESOME...
Thanks for the start of what could be a very interesting dialog on the board...

The puppetmaster episode of Glee was on my local nbc station last night - Fun to watch again especially when I didn't have to watch the whole thing but just remember what scenes Adam was in..
Thanks to everyone who sent me B'day wishes and memories last week. Hectic RL has kept me from this wonderful community too often of late..
Getting ready for the next Adam storm.... Have a good day everyone!

Not really a recap – but more of a musing of sorts…to express some of the awesomeness of this Queen and ADAM experience for me to date… Saw the opening show in Chicago with ljsmack and several of you and “17,000 of our closest and dearest friends” – good seats, great music, wonderful beginning to what is to be this Epic Queen and Adam tour… Took me a long while to “sort” out all of my emotions from that first time experience… Las Vegas – 2nd night (only did the one night) – Great balcony seats, 2nd row – most everyone was sitting in our section for most of the night, but those behind us were well warned in advance, that we would be standing and dancing and singing. OMG what a wonderful evening - Still haven’t had my “up close” and “in person” Adam experience but we had a great view of the stage and video screens to bring it all closer and personal. Had done some homework on Stone Cold Crazy and a few others that were lesser known to me (thanks Talon and Q3) and the Las Vegas experience was enhanced by that and the videos of other shows leading up to Las Vegas – (Thanks to ALL of you for the many wonderful videos that you have so graciously shared). Love Kills has become my favorite as he seems to bring more and more emotion to the song with each and every show. Didn’t think it would ever replace WWTLF for me, but it has.. Tie your Mother Down – another song that has grown on me over the course of this tour… What fun. Thanks so much to those Atopers immediately around me – ljsmack, Barbara from Dallas, No Angel and others who helped enhance the experience even more through their joy, excitement, enthusiasm and overall “squeeing” during the entire concert. I think we certainly converted some Queen fans or I should say Adam converted them and we encouraged. A lady beside me was experiencing Adam for the first time ever and was utterly amazed – Two Queen fans (a father and his young daughter –maybe 10/11) were still sitting in amazement long after the concert as well as if trying to savor the experience just a little longer. Then as we are leaving the venue, ljsmack sees Carmit, Taylor and others of Adam’s friends who had come from California to support “the new boy”. Las Vegas itself and all of you wonderful Atopers made this concert one to be remembered. The brunch hosted by Grandduchess, the added fun of green ribbons, Atop name tags (compliments of ljsmack) and door prizes added to the “company” of friends and the festive air of celebration of renewed and new acquaintances. Another very lengthy post would still not cover all I have to say and feel about this wonderful group of Adam fans and how my life has been enriched in knowing you. Even my 8+ hour wait at the Las Vegas airport yesterday could not dampen the weekend. Additional time was spent with Graceful Adam who was also delayed. I wore my Queen & Adam Lambert concert shirt and that instigated many conversations with Queen fans and “newbies” alike…We do truly live in a small world…. One thing that has been interesting in this experience for me has been my “renewed” appreciation for the wonderful musicianship of Brian and Roger and the group – Brian in particular – Awesome guitarist and he is finding such joy in this experience and sharing that joy with us through his extraordinary work. Thanks for letting me share…Detroit and Toronto are next on my “bucket list” of new places and experiences - Hope to see many of you there as we celebrate our love for this wonderful, talented artist and his “backing band”.

SELLING 2 tickets to Queen + Adam Lambert in Toronto Sun 13 July. Great lower tier seats in Section 108, row 22. Selling at face value C$146 each, so C$292 total. They are e-tickets so I can transfer them to your email via Ticketmaster. Or email you the pdf file. Pay me on PayPal. I am still going to the show but have bought row one tix for an arm and a leg on Stubhub (gulp)! May be interested in one of the tickets, but can't commit to both...let me know if you would consider selling just the one.
edit - I have PM'd you - I can now take both tickets...
