I've been a TdF junkie since 1989, when my then boyfriend got me to watch the Sunday updates of some American named Greg Lemond riding in this crazy French bike race. Since then it has become my summer obsession -- from the week-end updates to daily coverage and from VCR recording to my current DVR recording and streaming video -- it has been my July tradition (and I have even gotten up REALLY early to watch live coverage of Alp D'Huez...).
The only other thing that I have been this way about is Adam--and that is ongoing!

I'm watching the first link posted -- TvLux.net (that's the only part of the page I can understand, lol).
In the meantime, I am watching my favorite summer pastime, the Tour de France. First day--just watched Bradley Wiggins from the UK pull into first place in the Prologue...

That TV feed from Ukraine (currently showing bad ukrainian TV show) has a countdown clock in the corner of the screen to show the time left until the concert starts! Woot!!!

Ah yes, I would actually do this road trip if I were about 20 years younger--I just can't stay awake for 24 hours anymore, which is just sad! HAH!
I am bound and determined to see Adam sometime in the next few month, though.

Let's see, if I get in the car now and drive straight through...I could be in San Francisco in time to see Adam! However, then I would have to get back in the car and drive home in time for work Monday...hmmmm. Okay, not gonna happen--so NO ANGEL have a great time on your birthday! I hope everyone who is going to Summerthing has a wonderful time and takes great pictures and videos! ********* Q3: Adding this note in here at the end of page 1.
I have moved many NoAngel Happy Birthday Greetings to BIrthday Greetings section -- adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=birthday&action=display&thread=971.

A belated THANK YOU to everyone who shared birthday wishes for me yesterday (and today)! I also loved my beautiful raspberry cake--YUM!
I have been away from the computer for a couple of days first because of work, then because my sister showed up to surprise me for my birthday last night! A friend and I were waiting for our table at a restaurant last night for my birthday dinner, and here comes my sister holding a glass of wine! She drove from Portland (a four hour trip yesterday) to be there for dinner -- and my friend didn't even know she was coming. She stayed overnight and helped my clean my messy house today (now THAT'S a birthday present!) before leaving. What a great gift! Now I finally get to catch up with Adam--and I loved his Graham Norton outfit and performance!

YAY!!! I got my FAULT magazine today -- and it is really beautiful. Very high quality, even though it took the turtle forever to get to Seattle!

Graham Norton is on BBC America on Comcast in Seattle -- Saturdays in the early evening. I have been DVD'ing it for the past couple of weeks in anticipation with no problems.
