Two observations from me. First of all...having all this time means I can not only stream Velvet, but actually listen to it...have it playing constantly. I love that...it has allowed me to come to LOVING terms with the whole album rather than just those that caught my ears immediately! Second, I believe that coming to LOVING terms also shows the importance of radio play/stream playlists. Familiarity does not just breed contempt, as the saying goes,...it can breed loving. For a long time, FYE was always my favourite album but now, I really do believe that VELVET is that favorite!!!! Yeah!!! Hi mszue, I have not be able to locate the music video for Velvet on our Canadian itunes. The other day someone asked for help for the same issue-- not sure what country. I did scroll down, tried looking under MV's, tried search. Did you purchase/locate its whereabouts in itunes? I tried to find it as well, without success.

Let me just say, although The Weeknd will probably snatch the #1 slot, I am so so happy to stan an artist who does NOT have a blood dripping mouth album cover. Yuck. I second that Yuck I third that, it's gross!

Just stopping by to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. Not much of a poster but am here daily for all the Adam news. I know I can find everything here as so many talented people record everything Adam and others make sure it all comes here for sharing. Adam Lambert fans and especially Atop are all about sharing, which seems so appropriate at Christmas time.

Adam is hotter than ever in these concerts, and sounding fabulous! Love the setlist he's put together. Thank you to all the videographers and photographers and everyone here for bringing everything over.
Posting because I have an Adam calendar available. I have been making these for a few years for our little Vancouver Island group of Mszue, Happy and myself. They will vouch for me. They are a little smaller and not as glossy as the ones Cassie used to make, but still pretty nice. I had some damage on one of them and they reprinted, but reprinted 2 instead of 1. I'm happy to give it to whoever contacts me first, as long as you're willing to pay the mailing costs. It's strictly pictures, no dates or anything added to the calendar pages.

The show last night was fantastic. It had an overall more rock feeling to it, for me, than the last tour. The revised set list worked really well with a few new things sprinkled in. Adam was in super voice as you've all seen (heard) by now. Mszue and I, and a newby QAL attendee, met with Happy and her daughter for dinner before the show. We ended up walking quite a ways around the arena before we found the sports bar where we had booked, and then had a bunch of stairs to get up. Mszue has some problems with doing a lot of walking and her comments were heard by one, or the, restaurant manager, who was so kind as to pre-scan our tickets and take us into the arena through the back end of the restaurant and up with an elevator. All of which was greatly appreciated by our party. So we didn't even get our purses checked or anything. Merchandise lines were absolutely crazy long, so I ended up getting my shirt after the show, when it was still busy, but at least manageable. Although by that time all the purple shirts were also gone, mugs had sold out earlier, and a few other things might have been sold out. I didn't look at other things closely. If you get a chance to pre-order for pickup at the arena, that would probably be a good idea if you know what you want and know your size. The women's shirt with just the Queen crest definitely fits a lot nicer than the standard t-shirts they sell. We had seats on the floor 4 rows in front of the sound both and with an isle in front of us and to our right side. There's a picture on p. 13 of yesterday's thread that shows Mszue's blond head. We would not pick those seats again. As soon as the show started everyone on the floor, including us, were up and stayed up so we could barely see Adam's top half other than on the big screen, especially Mszue who's height challenged. There was some walking in front of us, but not too bad, but a security guard who came to spell the one who was there in the beginning stood right in front of Mszue, and she basically watched most of the show on the screens, which considering the cost of those tickets (about $225 CAD) is disappointing. So we missed his shenanigans on the piano during KQ and never saw the red shoes with the flame shirt. Still a fabulous show, but now learning some details we missed by seeing some of the videos posted. Next time we'd pick some seats just a few rows up in the stands, or up front of course if we had that option and it was halfway affordable. I did manage a few decent pictures as I have a Canon SX620 camera which has a 25x zoom, but is still a one piece small camera you're allowed to bring in. Anything with an interchangeable lens you're not allowed to take in, at least that's what I've heard and read. I don't have a photobucket type of account, but you can find the pictures here www.facebook.com/ingrid.vermegen?ref=bookmarks Please keep them on the forum as my name is attached to the account. And boy was Adam sparkly! Especially with the last outfit for the encore, he really embodied "the glittery alien from planet fierce". I guess this is my recap!

The documentary is featured on the cover of our BC TV Week magazine. www.tvweekonline.ca/ A couple of pages in there is an article "Lambert Helps Keep Queen Alive" with another picture of the Oscar performance. I took a picture of the article but have no way to get it here as I don't have a photo account. I can send it to someone who does if they want to post it. Pretty nice promo for here.

somewhat random: I follow an author on Facebook, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and she posted the Believe video for her followers. Great comments, and a few going to see the QAL tour this summer! I was able to share the vimeo link for those of us outside the US, seeing as it's still geo blocked. www.facebook.com/SusanElizabethPhillipsNovels/ See her post for Dec. 28th.

Thanks for the shoutout MsZue! We were without power for 18 hours and without cable and internet for 2 whole days. Good thing there's not much happening in Adamland so I didn't get too far behind. It was a huge storm for sure. I'd like to add my warmest wishes for a wonderful Christmas to those who celebrate, and a joyful, healthy, and Adam filled 2019! Thank you to all who keep this place going in such a positive way! (image insertion didn't work)
