Wow, that's awesome ! Good luck on the planning.
Thanks! It's exciting and scary at the same time. And I have no idea how to approach ticket buying, never been to a stadium concert.
Just sent you a DM!

Out of curiosity last night I went to several ticket reselling sites just to see what was being offered and at what price. Generally the resale prices are pretty darned high.
Twickets.live, though, is a ticket reselling site where tickets are sold at face value + a fee. Right now there are just 2 QAL tickets listed. Maybe over time there will be more.
Anyway, here are the QAL tickets in case anyone is interested: Tues, July 30, Washington DC, 1 ticket $115, upper concourse, section 430, Row D Tues, Aug 6, MSG New York City, 1 ticket $576.15, silver VIP, Section A, Row 8 Considering how high the resale prices are on most reselling sites right now, that NYC silver VIP looks like a bargain. peace&love
I would be very careful about buying any VIP tickets secondhand. I have a Silver VIP ticket for one QAL concert and a VIP Fan Package ticket for another QAL concert and here is what Ticketmaster says in my ticket details for both: MSG VIP tickets are the one exception - they are not Will Call tickets (I have one and it is a print-at-home ticket).

The VIPs that I bought are all Will Call with no option for delivery even in the US. That's the way it has been for VIP tickets at every QAL concert I have been to both in the US and in the UK since 2014. The whole Will Call is not the point here. Yes sandysva in NY it's not only Will Call, but also Print at Home or delivery to an address (which still has options if you don't live in the US). The whole point is that because you can't select "Other Country" at the Deliver page, people outside the USA or Canada can't buy the tickets at all! Because on the next page you have to enter your payment information and if you don't have a USA or Canada adress you can't complete the form. On the regular tickets there is a "Other Country" option with which you can just fill in your address plus your country. So they made it impossible for people outside of the USA or Canada to buy VIP tickets. This wasn't only for NYC yesterday, but for ALL venues. So imagine you coming to Europe in 2020 for QAL and you can't buy VIP because you aren't from the Netherlands or from the UK. That's what is happening here. No problem, I was just trying to correct the perception about VIP and Will Call. I understand the problem (I didn't realize it had happened for all shows and not just MSG.) Unfortunately I don't have to imagine the scenario you described. That's exactly what happened to me when trying to purchase VIP tickets to the 2018 QAL New Zealand shows. I absolutely understand your frustration, especially when you're trying to purchase that first ticket and the "Other Country" option is not there. Meanwhile the other non-VIP tickets are disappearing fast. I'm so sorry that all of you great non-US/Canada fans such as you had to experience this. It sucks.

The VIPs that I bought are all Will Call with no option for delivery even in the US. That's the way it has been for VIP tickets at every QAL concert I have been to both in the US and in the UK since 2014. I noticed Riddle posted about it too.....Yes, it's only Will Call for US folks for VIP. The VIP tickets at MSG are not Will Call. (My Silver VIP ticket for the 6th is mobile/print at home.) The fine print in the email receipt from Ticketmaster says: Thank you for purchasing a QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT VIP Package. Package details subject to change without notice. Your merchandise items that are included in the package will be available for pickup at the venue the day of the show. All VIP tickets will be issued at the designated VIP check in location (or other designated location at the venue) prior to the show on the date of the event only. CHECK-IN LOCATION & TIME INFORMATION WILL BE EMAILED OUT BY VIP NATION 3-5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW. If you have not received this 3 days before the show please contact us immediately. All packages are will-call only except for in the states of NY, VA & CT.

How did they get the plane that empty to take the pic? He's in business class; they board first. (I took the same flight back from London to Dulles in July.)

Was wondering if Adam was flying back home thru Hawaii like the way he went. That would allow him to fly Hawaii to SD to get Pharaoh. WITWIAL? Patti, I'm only seeing a couple of flights from Honolulu to San Diego - there many flights from Sydney to LAX or SFO and then on to San Diego. Some of the flights to San Diego are on commuter puddle-jumpers. I bet he goes home first.

From a friend in the audience tonight saying that they're making the crowd sit. Even on the floor!! FFS!!! Adam is working hard to get the crowd into it. C'mon Brisbane!! Not on Brian's side - I'm standing at the barricade near the stairs 😀. It's weird, though, lots sitting on Adam's side on the floor, so maybe security is different over there. Adam noticed.

OMG....concert performances fronted by May and Taylor, presently joined for concert performances by the extraordinary American vocalist Adam Lambert.
Fantastic! Acknowledgement again! I wonder if the concert and awards will be in Cleveland, OH where the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located? In 2017 it was held at the Beacon Theater in NYC on July 11, and in 2016 it was at the Dolby Theater in LA on April 23

Yes interesting....but also a little scary. I'm gonna have to get all up to date with all the digital stuff. I've always felt so much better having my paper ticket in hand....along with my confirmation, etc. The verified fan part...not sure if that would be better or not for us diehards.. putting folks into groups and allowing them to buy in a delayed way. How would they "rank" you, etc. In that article they said that some new signees to TM got preference to those who had bought before. That already seems flawed. Would the number of previous tickets bought thru TM to a particular artist determine your ranking in the on sale times, etc. I think I'd prefer to just battle with whatever bots and other diehards at 10AM. lol. I realize that some artists...the big ones....10AM might be a huge nightmare. I did the Verified Fan process for both Katy Perry and Pink; I had to specify the venue for each and I was randomly selected for both. TM sent me a text with a link to the presale as well as a single use code to purchase up to 4 tickets on a first-come-first-serve basis. For Pink TM sent an e-mail notifying me of my selection and included instructions for how to prep for the presale. I purchased one ticket to each show and they were the normal print-at-home tickets. The process was very smooth and although it was still a mad dash at presale time things went relatively smoothly. Re Ticketmaster Presence - I'm not sure I'd want to have to use my phone for entry to the venue.

I have some sad news for everyone today. Some of you have even met my husband. My beautiful, sweet, funny husband Jerry passed away on the 19th of December. Jerry was not only my husband but my best friend. I never thought he would go before me. I was the sickly one. In December of last year, they discovered cancer in his right lung. He hadn't smoked in 36 years but I guess cancer doesn't care about that. Jerry did not want to die in the hospital so with the help of Kindred Hospice we brought him home. When he came through the door, his face was so peaceful so I knew we had done the right thing. I laid my head on his chest and we just held each other. I have a broken heart but I have so many memories of the fun we had through the years. We spent our retirement going to rock concerts all over the country and to the casinos in Biloxi. He took me to so many Adam Lambert concerts and loved Adam as much as I did. We were lucky enough to go to one of Mayumi's get togethers also and met her adorable husband. We had a good time and enjoyed ourselves so much with all the glamberts. All you Florida glamberts keep me in your thoughts. I don't want to give up Adam concerts and I am going to need someone to go with me. Please keep me in mind if you are looking for company. Everyone enjoy your holidays and laugh long and hard if you can. Kathy Daghita Irish, I am so very sorry for your loss. You and Jerry were so cute together at the QAL concert in Houston - I'm so glad you were able to take that trip together to see Adam again. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Much love and hugs Sandy
