And MAN was there a lot of love! My eyes are burning & my head is spinning just trying to read his feed for a few minutes. He must be overwhelmed.
I KNOW it was not this massive other years. What's up? I'm LOVING it and I hope it's a sign of the love & respect he will get from the industry in the future.
It's amazing and SO well deserved. My head's spinning watching his feed. What a lovely day and great response from the industry. F*CKIN' PERFECT!

It is hard to believe that it has been four years since I heard "Mama." What a diffierence those two notes have made in my life. I will be forever grateful to AI for casting Adam on that season. So many good looking, talented, trained, professional singers from musical theater try out each year, and almost none make it through the audition process. How was it that the producers recognized that Adam was so much more than a theater guy with a great voice and an edgy haircut? How was it that someone "got" Adam when directors, producers, and record executives didn't? When even many of the critics writing about Idol didn't at the beginning? We've discussed many times how Adam is a black swan, an outlier, an alien, who makes people vaguely uncomfortable with his fabulousness that they don't know how to process. Whatever posessed the producers of such a mainstream, middle of the road, "middle-America" reality TV program to choose the alien from the planet Fierce? However it happened, the universe, fate, faith, positive projection, or an undeveloped Glambert in the production staff, I truly believe the world is better for it. Idol served its function. It gave us Adam Fucking Lambert. Its purpose has been fulfilled. Now, it can continue to limp along as another reality TV popularity contest, or it can close up shop. Don't care any more. When you have given the world the best singer of a generation what's left to accomplish? Thank you, Idol, and good night. Thank you, Cassie, had to bring this over as I just read it. Wonderful post. I'd also like to extend my thanks to Idol and the Universe for this wonderful gift they have given me/us/the world. I feel blessed and I'm so grateful that I can share my love for this Alien Prince with you all! Love You, Dear Captain and the Passengers of the Crazy Train! AND "fiannly", here's my birthday wish & dance for Adam - unfortunately (for me) it's NOT a lap dance. 8-)
Dance & Sing Through Life! Happy Birthday, Adam!

Spamming the thread, but I guess everyone else is asleep. Was not familiar with the song, "Diamonds" so I checked YT. Adam's 29 seconds were more interesting than the original. What a boring song. I know, really? And how funny was that Keek? LOL! You're right -- when I try to sing and exercise it's difficult!!! ILHSFM! He's so funny & cuckoo! But, I guess he's practising for his arena concerts...

Thanks, Wal! You know, you have been a life-saver many a time, when I've fallen behind of all the things going on with Adam. Thanks for all the tireless work you do for us with the round-ups, it's greatly appreciated! <3 I am a bit confused on if you are commenting on Wal's tireless work bringing over so many links for us or if you are refering to the Monthly Round Up. I do want to mention that I have started the Bali Recap in the Round Up here: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=newsarchives&action=display&thread=1297and will continue to add more links as we get them, I have added a few new links in the Diva's recap as well. Come to think of it, I'm actually commenting on both. :D Tinafea, dear Chief Chronicler, I absolutely love your amazing Monthly Round-Up Threads! I constantly search things there for a longer period of time; everything's so well organized. You see, the name of the thread has etched into my brain so well, that I even used the same phrase for Wal's daily "news-hearding". Sorry, I did not mean to be confusing, but rather extend my thanks to you and Maine as well! Love you guys!
