[/IMG] This is why he's the most important entertainment figure in LGBT history as of the most important day of his career and IMO, his final step into his adult life...November 23, 2009! Don't get me started hahaha.
Swarm, I love you and EVERYTHING you said. And I'm a Queen fan since 1975... BRAVO/BRAVA! Although.... Freddie made his desicion about his life not just to be able to do what he wanted in music, but also to save his family (MOTHER) of the possible unwelcomed publicity. No doubt they knew/suspected of his orientation, just not needed to deal with that publicly. IMO. And Nov 23, 2009!

You know what? I am fine with not seeing Adam and Queen live in London. I really am! I know nothing takes the place of LIVE, but that Kiev video has appeased me. What I am REALLY sad about is that there are so many Atoppers I won't be meeting! Same here. I will love everything we will hear and see from these shows, and who knows there might even be a professional DVD in our future. BUT. I'm really sad I can't be there to meet up with my best Adam-friends from all over the world. I'm happy for everyone going and witnessing this epicness, the latest thread of Adam-saga, which we all are lucky to be a part of. Everyone; have a safe and wonderful trip and remember to report back to us poor souls who shall live vicariously through your experience. You are our eyes, heart and souls; take care of each other & have fun!  :2tears:   Dance B*tches! .... while I was looking for that snippet, I came across some good memories...

Regarding the large downloads; I use AVS set of programmes for almost anything. Great value for money and very easy to use. When I get the downloads done, I'll make my DVD with Video Converter. I'll let you know how it worked (tomorrow). You can edit almost any format of video, combine them together, edit sound etc. Also very easy to clip & remove part of video and render any size of original file to fit into one DVD. You'd do this by lowering the original quality, but if the original is as good as this (TS), the DVD should still be great. Check it out here. www.avs4you.com/

Seven Seas of Rhye is a well known song, but I do not remember any concert that would start with that one... WWRY fast, or Flash & Tie Your Mother Down or I Want It All or One Vision are more typical show starters. They tend to vary the set-lists quite a bit. Innuendo is the first song of We Will Rock You, works pretty well I think. Failing that, One Vision yes! :D Adore Innuendo, one of my all time favorites, would be a great opening number! But more shows to come, maybe we'll hear that one...

For the more experienced Queen fans here...is SSOR an easily recognized song to the Queen cognoscenti? I didn't recognize it, and then it was followed by FBG in what seemed to be a different key than usual, and then by the original but not as well know version of WWRY. I'm just curious as to whether they were trying to shock any expectations that this was going to be a tribute band right off the bat or what...personally, I was expecting a more typical Queen song as the opener? Here is my take. I think they were trying to do an authentic Queen concert set. They play SSOR in concert a lot -- they played it on Nov 17, 2010 -- Prince's Trust. I do not think that any real Queen fans were surprised by it. FBG was in a different key than Freddie sang it. Some "originalists" think that should not have been changed and Roger should have sung it. ETA: I think this is braindead. They have often done both WWRY fast version and slow version in concert. They opened the 1977 tour with slow/fast WWRY. Seven Seas of Rhye is a well known song, but I do not remember any concert that would start with that one... WWRY fast, or Flash & Tie Your Mother Down or I Want It All or One Vision are more typical show starters. They tend to vary the set-lists quite a bit.

Okay, brain dead and admitting it...is there a central location where the acronyms for the Queen songs are listed? Because I'm lost after WWTLF and TSMGO, myself. ETA: Dragon Attack! Forgot to mention that. I'd love to see him sing that as part of the Trespassing tour set. Perfect song for him. Dragon Attack took me by surprise. As I wrote in yesterday's thread I could totally see that as a part of Trespassing (album & show). Also the AOBTD fits well as an encore... LOL. Actually, now that he has taken the time to learn all these amazing songs, it would make total sense to scatter them (sparingly) around in his own shows, IMO. 8-)

Terra's huge 4+GB 720 file is ready to DL. Don't know whether to go ahead with it or wait for feedback as to the quality/sound.
www.adamwiki.org/wiki/2012-06-30_Kiev,_Ukraine_(Queen_%2B_Adam_Lambert)I downloaded it and it is AWESOME. It is the HD TV feed not the stream and it IS complete. I just finished watching the end to check. Has the credits and everything. Thanks for the info, I'm downloading it RN. Good to know it'll be worth it! Can't wait!

WORD. If Freddie was watching he'd be so proud. The Show Must Go On. Loved everything today. Live is never perfect, but this was marvellous. Agree 100% with what Cassie said before. I do hope we get to see/hear the rest of the shows and see how things grow. Would not be surprised if they'd add a few more dates... As the dude from Queen forum said - forget Hammersmith book Wembley! Or maybe Madison square garden.... Yeah, after these "dress rehearsals" they could easily fill both venues... ;D Bridgey, do you remember, what Bri's dad said to him after watching them play at MSG? "Now I get it." Bri was in tears...
