IMHO I think Adam is in negotiations for Idol. Someone said yesterday he would be doing an end run, I think a shotgun formation is more like it. I think the weekly exposure will gain him handsome yardage in a single play. He put defenses off-guard and as a fast halfback can get good yardage until the defense (RADIO) recovers from their mistake.Too much smirk and giggle going on without clear denial. can't believe I just used a football analogy :-[ Where did he end up in the UK iTunes charts? I donated but couldn't receive as I was not home most of the day Ha. I was the one who wrote about the end run. Adam "Hurricane" Lambert raced and dove for the first two touchdowns (FYE and Trespassing). On Trespassing he carried the ball 17 times (songs), and covered for slumping teammate RCA by doing all the punting, some of the kicking-off, and a great deal of the tackling and blocking in a valiant effort against Team Radio. In his recent series with Queen he did everything but count the house and was applauded and cheered by everyone in the place except the downcast Haters. ... Even one or two of these were seen to clap covertly in appreciation of as great a performance ever produced in a coliseum of gridiron gigantics. LOL. CONGRATULATIONS GELLY!! |

Can Adam Lambert Save “American Idol?” – No and Here’s Why…www.zoiksonline.com/2012/07/can-adam-lambert-save-american-idol-no.html I want to start by saying this post is not about Adam Lambert, but more so about “American Idol.” Two seasons ago it appeared as if “American Idol” was back at the top, this last season ratings started to slip. Let’s not forget that shitty ratings for “American Idol” are amazing ratings for just about any other show on television, not to mention the fact that the “American Idol” format has competition in “The Voice” and “The X Factor.” Is “American Idol” really in trouble? Simon Cowell left and everybody thought that would be the end of “American Idol,” but I didn’t. As much as Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest may think the show is about them, the show lives and dies with the contestants. Two seasons ago the show wasn’t a hit because of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez; it was a hit because of James Durbin, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams and Pia Toscano. You had the perfect combination of people. You had the hard rock guy, the country guy, the pop country girl; the Adele meets Led Zeppelin girl, comic relief and Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston type singer. Odds are that Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson will be gone. Lopez and Tyler will want to use the momentum they got from “Idol” to prolong their career while Randy Jackson will probably be the odd person out. Adam Lambert is in talks to join “Idol.” His season was one of the better seasons (arguably the best) and he was one of the biggest draws the show ever had. It’d make sense for him to be a judge, but why would anybody tune in to see him be a judge. He’s an amazing performer/singer, why would anybody prefer watching him talk instead of performing and making music? While Adam Lambert is hot right now, he’s still not as big a draw as Jennifer Lopez or Steven Tyler. If anything being a judge on “American Idol” would help his career more so than he’d help the show and that is not a slam against Adam Lambert, it’s just that the contestants are what drives the show and if you don’t have a well rounded group of contestants, then it doesn’t matter who your judges are. Aerosmith is my all time favorite band and I didn’t watch regularly this last season because I wasn’t as interested in the pool of contestants this season. Lambert fans, I hope you’ll back me up on this one.

Capital hasn't spun NCOE for 2 days straight now. What's going on? They've played it 4-5 times a day for a month and now this freeze all of a sudden
