my DD just told me that she heard NY Z100 talk about AI12 and that "Adam Lambert might be coming back but this time as a judge; and check out their site for more details"..
so the media cycle is still going on! I wish they would play him as well >:(

I tried to leave a comment, but it wouldn't let me sign in. Grrr!Did leave a comment on this one. I don't want to brag, but my comment sounded much more intelligent and articulate than the anti-Adam one. I added one as well.

So, didn't Carrie Underwood debut at #11? How many albums did she sell?

This sounds like a small audience for the Idol Tour. Anyone remember the sizes of the audience for Season 8? (The timid audience of about 6,000, however, took a while to get moving and spent the first half hour in a church-like hush.) After the belly-flop of Season 9, I believe a number of the venues were down-sized. The concert attendance for the Season 9 tour was pretty bad -- they actually wound up cancelling some dates. For the Season 10 tour, 19 booked more conservatively with smaller venues in some cities. I think they continued the same approach with Season 11.

Target Center has a capacity of around 20,000...give or take depending on stage arrangement.

With all the blogs commenting on the Adam/AI judge rumor, I was wondering why Glambert Lyndsey Parker hadn't checked in. But remembered she is in London to see the show. Can't wait for her reactions to both the rumor and the QAL performances. I think she responded yesterday but can't remember what page of the thread it's posted on. Someone tweeted Lyndsey yesterday asking what she thought about the rumor about Adam becoming an idol judge. Lyndsey tweeted this in response: @lyndseyparker Seems to be just a rumor at this point but I am all for it, way better choice than J.Lo

Like some arenas only sold 2 levels. They probably did that ^^^^ for Target center.
