I imagine it is his management's job to let the honchos at Idol see how there is lots of interest and excitement about this possibility. If he was committing his charmicide week after week, it would be great for him and Idol too. What I love is that some (perhaps many IDK) of the articles have pictures of Adam singing with the Queen drum behind him!! It is such awesome publicity for those who don't have a clue that he was singled out by Rock Royalty. I know he is his own artist and I think B and R are probably giving him great input and want him to be a success but it is a total win that this gig has happened in terms of credibility. IDK that he would have had the same chances in the UK without it. We takes what we can gets. |

@ukglambert lol I don't understand but 7080 copies sold of NCOE, 3869 sold of Trespassing so far....[My note: don't worry about the "I don't understand" in that last tweet, that was in response to a tweet that is irrelevant here] I presume this person is an "insider" which explains he's able to acquire the numbers before the reveal of the official Wed. Midweek Chart. If so, 7080 is about 2 days' sale and 3869 is just from 1 day, then they're damn good, considering how saturated the UK market is and who Adam is competing with, and his current profile status in the UK. Yes, I know the single is largely due to the "fan buying campaign" but it's a strategy to get him visible on the chart and noticed by the radio, then we fans got to do what we got to do. Right now, the single is still holding at #15 and the album at #28 on UK iTunes overall. . Leyton Bracegirdle @leytonb Manager of @chartshowtv, @dancenationtv & 6 European radio stations. Hey guys, I gave my friend Adam's new cd and she said she liked it and Adam is supertalented. And now I have somebody to go to Adam's concert with me  That is great to have someone to share Adam with. Good job recruiting. |
