There's a close up video of it already posted and he is looking directly at the audience when he sings that part. NVM, here it is. He does indeed look up, twice.  Once as he is pulling the mike out and says "I've fallen in love" at :58 and again at 1:22 OMG!!!!!!!! That's the one I was looking for!!!! YAY!!!! My favorite song because Adam looks so happy singing it (from the 1st time in Kiev) and because that's when Brian puts his head on Adam's shoulder... *melts*!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!! Such a tender moment. I am amazed and dazed (and a bit drunk...heee!) at the love between Bri & Adam & Rog!!!!!!!!! It'a a beautiful thing!!!!!!!!! And, it makes my heart so fucking happy, I can't even tell you!!!!!! This has also become my very favorite song of the concert. Its on repeat... Check out 1:56 when Adam glances up at the balcony  Adam is just so darn happy  Makes me all warm and fuzzy! Oh AND EPIC NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What an amazing day! Adam must be feeling so vindicated right now -- all those years stuck in the chorus with little acknowledgement of his talent -- and now to perform in front of his family, his lover, rock royalty and an adoring crowd. I'm trying hard to imagine what he must be feeling -- probably words can't express it.

On the first We Will Rock You tonight, it sounded like Adam came in too early after the instrumental break. But, he made it work, continuing to riff with Brian. He is such a seasoned pro, I don't think anyone knew that was not what he intended all along. It reminded me of some advice he gave the kids on Majors and Minors. It starts at 1:15 on this video.
Also, 3:17 he talks about the importance of establishing good relationships with other people in the business. How you conduct yourself when meeting people, can result in work on down the line. Thinking of how Adam first met Brian and Roger on Idol, he has clearly demonstrated the importance of this lesson, don't you think?
