Connecting with Atopers did not go as planned. I missed so many I wished to meet. I was searching for those that had made me feel apart of the board by responding to some of my musings on the thread, and was sorry that when I inquired a few had left earlier than me. I appreciated those who took the initiaive to approach and talk to me. The length of conversations had no rhyme or reason...just flowed. With some it was just a few quick words to express my appreciation for their work on the board...as per noangel, Q3, and with others, we had a grand time chatting. Also I missed meeting so many of you.. maybe due to a bit of shyness to intrude on already bustling conversations, and of course the lateness of the night for many. Hopefully as my future with Adam progresses I will find opportunites to travel again, and experience "the fandom". And of course the music! A highlight, was having a wonderful/interesting conversation with Lyndsey Parker at Harrod's over tea. She was by herself, and sat next to me on the green velvet circular seat. ileanne and I gave her every opportunity to enjoy her tea in peace, but she was very chatty. Also having the Lambert/ Sauli contingent and Bob Geldorf group right behind us, has given me many solid pictures for my memory bank. Oh the treasures in my mind! ... sorry bb that you didn't get to meet everyone at the fabulous dinner, but I'm betting most people felt the same way. Must have been pretty overwhelming to suddenly be surrounded by 70-80 flailing Atoppers. In the future if there's another huge get-together, maybe everyone should have GIANT NAMETAGS with their user names plastered on their backs or something!!  And very cool story about chatting with Lyndsey!!  |

OK, I HAVE A QUESTION!!! This epic Brian/Adam moment was from London #2, right? Could everyone in the audience see this happening? Was it clearly visible from all angles??
yeah, totes. I stood near the bar at the back and giggled like a lunatic when I saw that. |

This might be crazy, but I am also going to DL NCOE at Amazon! ;D I just did that too! Along with requesting at all my local stations and the big ones.  Ain't gonna lie, I've been getting really down about radio and haven't been requesting as much....it was starting to feel so pointless. Adam's tweet has totally pumped me up again! He's working his ass off - he's more talented and deserving than 98% of those who are embraced by radio - and goddam it - I'm gonna do the little bit I can!!

Sent some tweets out now driving into town for cell service so I can text my requests --if Adam is not giving up on NCOE then I'm not either.
I think the RCA team (or whomever) should be at his upcoming gigs telling people to REQUEST.
