They were ALL great but to me, the second one on the 12th was the best. I think the defining moment on the 12th was when Adam KILLED TSMGO. Brian sang it on the 11th and we were disappointed about that (not slighting Brian in the least - he has a great voice) and when Adam sang it on the 12th, HE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN!!!! The energy of the whole concert seemed a little better on the 12th - maybe just my imagination, but it seemed different. I agree, though some people might call me biased cause that's the only one I went to :-[ I can admit there were better performances of some of the songs, WWTLF and SSOR at London #3, Under Pressure at Kiev to name a few, but overall the energy on that night was just beyond and Adam cut it loose even more than he did on the 14th. You could just tell it was gonna end up like that from the ending of WWRY fast. "We will rock you... TONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!" Finding the best audio sources for all six shows is gonna be less fun though  [/quote] I went to all three shows and loved every minute - but there was something very special about show no.2. Adam danced a lot more and the crowd was amazingly quick to respond to everything. Had seats in front two rows for all three - the only downside was that the sound was a little muffled; it's so much better on the vids taken from the GA downstairs but nothing could detract from the sheer joy of it all. Family party for first night - three sons in GA and my mother next to me (It was her birthday week - 84 - and when I asked what she'd like to do, well....) With friends other two nights and they all loved it. Just want to say how lovely it was to meet the Atoppers at the Lala on the 10th - what a great group of people. |
