I CAN'T GET RID OF THEM!!!!!! Guess who was across the aisle and 2 rows back from me at DIVAS?!! Emblem 3! They are tiny, BTW. Really tiny! I would guess about 5'4" Yes we saw them on the red carpet in the stream. So they are short? I guess Mario isn't very tall and Simon is short so it wasn't noticeable on TV.

I also talked to Lyndsey Parker about them and she said, as much as she hated them on the show (mostly due to their image and crappy singing) she finds them quite nice in person. She is thinking they got a very bad edit from the show.

Oh my. Just listened to the duet and Tate sounded awful! It is embarrassing. I think the only show that has any vocal credibility is The Voice because stupid America doesn't get to vote until fairly late into the show when all the talent is really quite good.

Booorrrrrrrring! And the show that Simon has been touting as the hipper version of Idol, just picked a 37 year old Country guy that sorta has Garth Brooks style but is not as good as Garth!

I predict that Tate will be a star in America, especially in the south where country music is very popular, for a couple of years but he will like many of the talent shows' winners blend into the mass of all the other singers. Carly Rose however (I think) will record a few albums and will then (when she's in her 20s) come to grow into her own skin and record memorable songs. In a way she reminds me of Barry Manilow. I personally think she has a natural feel for music but it must be developed and handled very carefully. I'm just worried what the harsh music industry will do to such a young person.

I didn't watch XFactor - way too much production and artifice for me, I watched The Voice instead. But I did see some of Carly Rose's performances on you tube. My first impression was that she seemed used to the stage for someone so young and she projected well. I looked her up on wiki and sure enough, she's a theater kid.
From Wiki: "Carly Rose Sonenclar (born April 20, 1999 (age 13) is an American child actress. She has acted in many productions both on and off-Broadway, including the show Wonderland where she originated the role of Chloe, and Les Miserables on Broadway. She has had small roles in two movies and a recurring role on the show The Electric Company."

I think Tate will only become a star if he can write his own songs. IMO he has zero charisma and a totally generic sounding country voice. As myspenser50 says why buy his covers when the originals are better?
