Not sure if it was just the lighting on his blonde look or if he went silver, but I do think we have a new silver fox on the block Somehow, he can make anything work with sheer confidence and SWAG. Yes, I hate myself for using that word But am I the only one disappointed he shows off this fab pants barefoot, and not in some chunky boots? |

Adam is in? Adam is out? Adam is still in the running? I have no idea at this point. But, we DO know that Adam has been considered. He has talked with Idol about the possibility. THAT IS HUGE! I know we scratch our heads at the other names mentioned, but, folks, Adam is on a very exclusive list, none the less. Think of all the other Idol contestants and winners. We have heard nothing about any of them being considered. Like Simon giving him a standing ovation, or Adam returning to be a mentor, this is a singular honor earned by Adam and no one else from Idol. Then there is the fact that the response to the idea of Adam being a judge has been overwhelmingly positive. Has there been any news coverage that said it was a bad idea? That asked WHY they would even consider Adam? And the polls I have seen have all put Adam in the lead based on readers' votes. Regardless of the outcome, Adam has, once again, gained more visibility and credibility from the rumors. Plus, I think he must feel flattered and proud to be contacted by Idol and in talks with them. He's come a LONG WAY from four years ago when Simon didn't want to put him thru the auditions because he was theatrical and not current. From when he was on stage, in the chorus, in the back, with a top hat, unsure that anyone could even hear or see him. I am very happy for him. Bravo, cassie! :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: |

Can't help but think that they told Adam that he wasn't in the running any longer and said he could talk about it now In a world of possibilities, this scenario isn't even on the list! On to the real life speculation...  Adam following Mariah is VERY interesting! Adam using the expression "green light" and finally saying that he talked to them and is being considered is another plus! Mariah pimping her personal choices tells me she doesn't want Nicki as a judging partner. Mariah and Nicki are friends, but I don't believe Mariah wants another woman on the panel. I was surprised AI would even consider two women, given the demographics of the viewers. Women like to watch the male contestants on the show and they are going to be much more likely to warm up to male judges. (sad...but true) How can the suits at AI not know this, after all these years? NM really doesn't fit in with what AI is all about. I would be okay with Nicki (as long as Adam was also on the panel), but I could see where a large majority of the viewing demographic would not get her in any way! I keep thinking of my Mom and Aunts who have watched AI for years. They would be fine with Adam, Brad, Keith, Enrique and even young Nick, but they would not understand WTH Nicki Minaj was all about. With all the other singing shows competing for viewers this upcoming year, why would Idol want to push their loyal viewers away? They have to find a way to keep their loyal viewers, while attracting new ones. IMO, having Nicki on the panel would not be a smart move on Idol's part. |
