1) "green light", "I am considered" <- a big step up from "If.." "I haven't heard..."
2) Shosh suggested glmaberts to trend
3) Adam thanked glmaberts for that.
My heart is skeptical, but my head is saying that it's already a done deal. Both Shosh and Adam are cautious people and smart. They never want to mislead fans, right? Adam's never suggested us anything that won't happen, right? There might be delays, and even very long delays, but they all happened. he would never build false impression just for the PR purposes. Adam is much smarter than NJ, he won't try to create a buzz favorable for AI if he feels AI is about to tell No to him.
My heart and my head don't listen to each other now.

The doom and gloom if he's not in will last for a day or two but the buthurt if he is in will last for years and years LMAO THIS IS SO TRUE!!! LOL! But this why I HATE American Idol. I HATE the lame fandom thing. People take it waaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. There is this intense butthurt among fans of other Idols and we all know which other Idols every time something positive happens with Adam and especially if it has anything to do with Idol. The melt down from those certain fanbases is almost nuclear. I don't understand it. I could care less if something good or bad happens to any of the other people from that TV show. I don't even know who most of them are.

I don't have a strong opinion either way but all the people 100% convinced is scary, imagining all the doom and gloom the day the lineup is announced if he's not in. I agree. I feel like some are holding out all kinds of hope for this. Personally I think being a judge on Idol will hurt and in no way help. I strongly believe it's a bad move. But hey, it's his life not mine. When they announce Enrique, Paisley or Jonas as the new judge I'm staying off the Internet because all the doom and gloom is so depressing and counter productive. Just the opposite- being a judge on Idol would HELP and in no way HURT! How could exposure on TV two times a week to 15-20 million viewers "hurt" Adam? It certainly didn't hurt Jlo or Steven, or the judges on The Voice, for that matter. What it did was make some of them household names or put some of them back in the spotlight. IF Adam gets the job, it will not be a GUARANTEE of anything! However, it will get Adam's face and his articulate, charismatic self back into the public eye in a way that no other option available to him could do at this point. It will then be up to him to make the best of this golden opportunity, and I am 100% confident in Adam's ability to spin gold from it!

The only thing about going to Burning Man that I may regret (except the heat, sand, wind, and questionable hygiene) is that ya'll will find out about the Idol thing while I am there. Could you send up like a beacon or something?

In response to how the Shoshanna/Adam/Idol trending came about (which might have been confusing unless you were watching it unfold on twitter real time) -- First Shoshanna tweets: “@chartshowtv: Wow! In our @chartshowtv poll about 95% of ya would prefer @adamlambert over @nickiminaj as American Idol judge!” lol then she tweets out the Australian article about Adam talking about having had talks with Idol: mobile.news.com.au/entertainment/music/adam-lambert-talks-idol-olympics-and-tattoos-during-australian-tour/story-e6frfn09-1226455211004?sv=dc7fe6cac3e83d966f1d4c9c9f8f9dab … Shoshanna's next tweet was in response to being asked if Adam judging Idol was a possibility which then started the trending efforts by fans assuming that she wanted it to be Idol related): " borneobert there hasn't been a trending topic for some time. Glamberts musnt want anything I guess " Fandom then took it and ran with it to great effect with no further prompting. She and Adam both seemed happy with the #1 WW trend result.

Not so much JLo because she was never taken seriously as a singer anyway.. Tyler lost a lot of cred amongst his fan base. He lost some in my eyes too. They start to lose credibility as singers and become TV personalities. I don't think Xtina will ever recover her singing career fully. Levine saves himself because he is part of a band.
