I woke up this morning and had a GIFT from Adam.
Checked the twitter and there it was.
IS THIS LOVE is "our song" the one I share with my DH. Reggae music brought us and has kept us together for over 30 years.
It does not surprise me Adam covered Robert Nesta Marley. When he sited a Marley song as one of his fave songs from his youth (was it Exodus?) that of course made me love him even more.
BTR definitely has a reggae influence.
It has always been my secret fantasy that Adam would sing Marley or cover another reggae artist.
I would love to hear him sing NO WOMAN NO CRY.
Have to add the band did a pretty good job too.

I love to hear Adam change up arrangements. This has a very different feel from the uptempo version. At the beginning I thought it lacked energy, but as I got into the vibe I liked it more and more. The chords Brian is playing during "Make their faces crack" are yummy jazz harmonies. Glampoon, what is Brian doing there? Need your chord analysis. Other places it sounds like funky R&B. Trespassing as cool jazz funk. I like it! |

LOVE that Bob Marley cover--just full of joy! One more possible reason to believe that Idol may be a possibility--this waiting period. I know they are building anticipation and getting lots of free press, but this is getting ridiculous! Are they waiting for Adam to come back to LA for an announcement? What is Nicki Minja's current schedule? Or are they waiting to try to steal the thunder from X Factor? Would FOX allow that since both shows are FOX? The judges HAVE to be selected by now to have a clear Sept. to Oct. schedule.
