So I arrived the venue around 5:40pm and the queue was looooong. I saw teenagers, early 20s, 30s, late 40s, guys, girls, husbands and wives. So basically a really diverse group and everyone had a big smile on face. People were talking with each other while waiting for the door to open. I went by myself cause I only managed to get 1 ticket but I talked to some glamberts and they were lovely. I have to say I'm kinda shy and not a very social person. Talking to strangers is never my thing. But I didn't feel awkward tonight. The love for Adam brought us close. Then around 6:40pm, the door was opened. The venue is a bar/restaurant thing which I have never been to. We went straight to the top floor. The stage setting is pretty intimate as most of you had already seen from previous posts and it's PACKED. We waited some time there, but let's skip all that and go straight to the gig, shall we?  The band came to the stage first. They all had a big smile on their faces. Then Adam came out, the scream could bring the house down. He is GORGEOUS! The silver hair looked amazing and his blue eyes were so so so beautiful. Yes, they were blue tonight just like the ocean :wub: And he looked so good. Then he opened his mouth to sing  OMG! I don't know there has a world to describe how incredible and perfect his voice is. None of the youtubes, TV performances can do his voice justice. I went to his GNT in Sydney last time, he sounded great back then. But DAMN BOY, he sounded 10 times better than the last time I saw him live. He's so confident so happy on that stage. He was in total control of his voice and every single soul at the gig. The infinite energy was unbelievable. And we got a new song!!! The smile on his face when he sang "is this love" just melted my heart. It's a really beautiful moment. The crowd was great :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: We clapped away and sang along with him for every song from the beginning to the end. After tasted the iceberg tip, I just can't wait for the trespassing tour. It's gonna be AMAZEBALL  Love to you all :wub:  |

Funny thing, I just watched the Bob Marley documentary last night ( www.imdb.com/title/tt1183919/ - very interesting) and woke up this morning to hear this wonderful cover. I wonder if Adam saw the documentary on his flight to Australia and it inspired him to sing this song |

WOW, Is This Love sounds amazing! I think it would be a good segue to/from By The Rules if they did it live. YES!!! All the feelings I have since I listened to this cover cannot be expressed in words, gifs, NOTHING , I'm shaking I'm crying maybe because I love Bob Marley and now Adam killed it KILLED IT!!! OMGGGGGGGGG Listening on repeat...... and crying....... Bob Marley is also my long time love. But how Adam did it, was totally different, he made it his own, as always, and really killed it. I also have a tsunami of emotions from this, and cannot relly pull myself together right now. |
