Bob Marley is also my long time love. But how Adam did it, was totally different, he made it his own, as always, and really killed it. I also have a tsunami of emotions from this, and cannot relly pull myself together right now. So beautiful! Adam doing Marley! Who would have thought?!  Adam wears his love so well! Adam brings the words love, sweetness, beauty to life. Watching him sing that song truly shows the meaning of those words.

All the songs he sang tonight had a stronger funky vibe except WWFM. LOVE the funk theme. Also love how he sings WWFM now. The wailing at the beginning -- Gorgeous.

As a side note on show tonight - from where i was standing all you could see was a sea of cameras and phones recording and taking photos. Given intimacy of the venue I can't even imagine how disconcerting it must be for Adam or any performer - makes it so hard to connect with audience when they are all busy doing something else ... Is also super obnoxious for people further back who just see forest of hands arms and blue screens between them and artist they have come to see. Sure is nice for fandom to get vids but not sure at what cost - esp for these smaller shows. #carryon ... he will survive, I am sure. For so many this is the only way to experience Adam, so unless there are a couple of "designated" recorders (a la Suz) - the recordings are the necessary evil IMselfishO. |

Adam said his parents played Bob Marley music at pool parties. They will love this, he sings it so beautifully. He has such a range of music he can sing, better then anyone else.
