What a pleasant thread to read after a very hard day!! A thanks to Adam he will never read: (thankfully) --- I had a hard moment of truth at work today. Part of me just wanted to cry and run away, And then, way from back in my head, I start to hear the strains of Adam singing -- I don’t need no sympathy. I won’t cry and whine. Life’s my light and liberty And I shine when I wanna shine. Make their faces crack There’s no turnin back. Let’s GO! And I pulled myself together in seconds -- and prevailed. So he will never know, but today he helped one person (me) do better. A damn fine ending to what could have been a totally crappy day. Awwwwww, sorry Q3. Sending a cyber hug your way!! |
