Hi everyone. Thanks sooooo much for all of the great vibes, wishes and pm's. Just spent 6 hours at the dermatologist. Taking a break at home and off to the plastic surgeon at 5. I don't know how to express how much I'm looking forward to those pain meds and a huge bottle (I mean glass) of wine. My right eye is swollen shut, but the good news is he didn't have to cut my eyebrow off. Got a hole the size of a silver dollar on my forehead, but I'm ready to let the plastic surgeon work his magic. BBL to look at some more beautiful pictures and read everyone's interesting, insightful and funny comments. xoxo The bright side of all this is how lucky we are that we now have the technology to be able to detect the problem early and do something about it. You are sooo lucky!! The plastic surgeon will work magic, and you'll be as good as new. In the meantime, Adam will soothe your soul and lift your spirits.....along with your friends here at ATOP!!

Wut??? That ceiling caused a small abrasion an Adam's hand?!?!? I hate it with a fiery passion! Once I'm finished with it, it will rue the day it was plastered!!!! Oh, and Adam looks kind of ridiculously good in those pics, damn! Though it makes me LOL that the Cali boy is pale, and his boyfriend from a distant wintry clime is nice and tan Hehe, NoAngel, My thought exactly!! Adam is so, well, white pale next to Sauli and Katri. When I looked at those 33 pics and saw the magnitude of the paps, it's no wonder Adam and Sauli don't make eye contact. Just maneuvering through that sea of flashing lights and screaming paps is an accomplishment in itself! Adam has such presence to be in this craziness. I see his protective arm around Sauli, checking to see where he is behind him in line. Rounding up his 'chicks'. Always vigilant. Super to see Terrance! What a great intro to Katri to LA big-times and a Happy Birthday to Sauli. I'll bet they were excited, but also fried from that long flight. Rest day today perhaps? I thought Adam also looked a bit tired..I mean, he had a big night dancing with ceilings and all So happy Sauli is back. They do have something special, a comfort level it seems. Only my perspective. Sauli handles the paps really well. Can't wait for his next joke about not having to bring cameras cause your pictures will all be taken for you! 8-) Adam's gotta love someone who is so grounded about this. WELCOME SAULI AND KATRI to the US! Have a blast!

Seriously, USA radio is the strangest "business" out there! I can't even imagine telling one of my customers that I "hate" something they have suggested. If I were in a similar situation and wasn't going to play the song, I would probably say something about it being "too long" or "doesn't quite work with our current playlist" or something. Do they honestly NOT consider the listeners to be their customers? I've been involved in my family's business my entire life and just cannot understand the logic used in running these radio companies. (My local top40 station doesn't seem to even TAKE requests so clearly they are uninterested in what the listeners would want.) Some of these DJ's/PD's almost seem to be resentful of Adam's success. In my opinion, they sound bitter. Adam is charging forward against all odds. His success is gaining momentum with or without their approval, with or without their spins, and some people don't seem to like it one bit. ***Go Adam!!!!*** Obviously, not everyone has gotten the memo......resistance is futile!!!!!!!!!!! I can see them being resentful because DJs like to think of themselves often times as star/taste makers in music when the reality is they don't even decide what they play, program directors do. I think there may be some bitterness because Adam has found success even without some of the major radio support that say Kesha and Gaga have had. Granted he's not on their level yet but he's making a lot of progress and he almost always seems to have positive buzz associated with his name. I didn't notice until the close up picture that Sauli has his nose pierced... That's really sexy. Oh and he has freckles and dipshit that I am my immediate thought was "awww their kids would have frekcles" yes, slap me someone please LOL

wal you forgot the most important thing to tell to crazylady. The DJ said to Adam that he is going to be iconic like Madonna ;D That's right!! Thanks, gelly!! :D So Adam is following @the Voice on twitter now. The Voice @nbcthevoice Premieres April 26 at 9/8c! NBC and Executive Producers John de Mol & Mark Burnett are searching for the best Voice in America! www.nbc.com/the-voice/Thanks ladies! I hope that DJ is right about Adam being iconic!! Every time I see Christina Aguilera in the clips for The Voice, I think of Adam since he lilkes her so much. Have you seen the previews? They will have what they call "blind auditions." The judges will not face the contestants when they are auditioning so they can focus solely on the voice and not how they look. The judges, along with CA, are Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), and Blake Shelton (am I missing one?). Anyway, NBC shows previews ALL the time. They are hyping it big time! I wondered if Adam knew about; guess he does!

I hate to interrupt all this joyful squeeing over last night (I was doing the same), but I have a bit of disappointing news. For ME anyway. WAEB Allentown has been very supportive of Adam for both WWFM & IIHY. I requested the remix once a day last week and hadn't heard it so I emailed the PD today asking if he heard it and what he thought of it. Here's his reply: "Hate it. It's no If I Had You". So now I can't really request it anymore. I wonder how many other PDs/DJs feel that way. :( Sorry - had to vent. Carry on. Awww, chin-up, JazzRocks. Looks to me like what we've got here is a PD who's a big fan of two of the last three songs Adam's released to radio. Well, two outa three ain't bad at all! So he hates Aftermath. Fine. Fair'nuf. We can't expect everyone to love everything Adam puts out. Hell, I'm BSC and I don't even love everything Adam puts out. I'm sure there a lot of DJs out there who love it, a lot who hate it, and a lot who've never even heard it! That's okay. Main thing is, you supported Adam and more than did your bit, so hooray for you, and hooray for Adam for continuing to put out good work, and continuing to earn fantastic fan support. SUGAREE: Yay! One down, one to go. And then you can relax and pamper yourself to your hearts content. Thanks for checking in--we were thinking of you. ETA: I've gotta say, I haven't seen it, but I don't get the concept of "The Voice" at all. I mean, isn't that the whole lesson Idol learned with Adam--that it's not just about singing ability, its about spectacular singing ability PLUS being a great, all-round performer? Isn't that supposedly what tanked season 9? That they didn't select performers? I mean, obviously Adam's voice is incredible, but what really grabbed me from Satisfaction onwards was what a confident, carismatic, fun PERFORMER he was! FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT, right? Entertainment is about more than just hitting the notes and singing pretty. It's about moving, and dancing, and doing something with your face (cough, Lee D., cough). It's about owning your song. That's what Adam tried to convince them all of when he mentored Elvis week. That's what Elvis was about, too. I don't see how the judges of this new show are going to evaluate all this without being able to see the contestants--seems to me they're just asking for a boring winner.
