I also read on twitter that Adam didn't put enough bronzer near his hairline when he was at the party w/ Fergie Adam should buy Sauli boots because his are clown boots Sauli had a fake tan and it looked orange funniest one was that he should have taken Tommy to see GaGa and was ignoring him I can't believe people are so petty and actually look for things to bitch about..and these people are supposedly his fans sauli and katri did appear to have a fake tan, especially katri. someone brought it up right on this board this morning and i agree. but i don't see what the big deal is. it's just an observation. I didn't say it was a big deal, just commenting on what I think are petty remarks on twitter

Sauli looks and feels special. He is that special guy for a very special man, namely our beloved Adam. Screw the twitter stuff. Too much time on their hands !!!!

I'm glad Adam met Sauli too but I don't remember him saying he was tired of WeHo or the Gay culture there. I can't even imagine him saying such a thing. It would get so blown out of proportion by the press. Maybe he meant his "dating pool" had run out?? Adam frequents gay clubs on a weekly basis. He seems pretty involved in the Hollywood and West Hollywood scene.

To me, Sauli does not appear to be as fem as Drake and Brad Bell (who is extremely effeminate), neither of whom were shy about public affection. He seems physically stronger, masculine, and into athletics, running, gym activities, according to his bio. Maybe he prefers the touchy feely stuff to be in private? Or maybe he is coming from a European point of view. He was very affectionate with Niko on BB, but who knows how much of that was play-acting out a Bromance for the camera. Adam and Sauli sure look good together, though. sigh............ Strikes me that Sauli must be a breath of fresh air to Adam after the plastic environment of WeHo and the pretentious gay culture there. In fact he did say he was tired of it in an interview with one of the gay magazines, sorry cannot remember which. So glad he met Sauli. Um, I don't know Adam, obviously (sobs ) but he seems very happy with his "Weho" circle of friends, going to many of the same clubs he's gone to all his adult life, including some totally crazy-ass cabaret style shows, like the Mr. Black shows, which seem to involve both tuxes ("pretentious"?) and ass-less pants ("weho gay"?) and loving the heck out of them. He seems to adore many of his more "flamboyant" friends, still, and still be very involved in that scene. Don't know much about his exes, either, but I'd put my money on Drake in a physical fight between him and Sauli, LOL, and I know that Brad both participates in distance races and long bike races, and that he's a big football fan. I also know plenty of big, burly, sportsloving, athletic men (my hubby is one of them) who LOVE to show affection in public. So I'm not sure I follow. I believe the article you're referring to is the OUT interview, in which Adam says many thoughtful and nuanced things, some of which have to do with the limitations and stereotypes that exist within as well as without the gay scene, and about how, naturally, within that scene, as in any scene, things can get a little repetitive and claustrophobic sometimes, and features and habits can get exaggerated, but that's hardly abandoning a world that has provided him with so much artistic inspiration. I confess I've had to laugh a few times when someone on this blog has mentioned that Sauli is somehow butcher than Adam's usual tastes in men, cause I don't really see it at all, and I swear I could have picked the guy out of a line up of fifty as the one Adam would fall for, LOL, but I don't care one way or the other: I love him to bits. I certainly, however, would hesitate before interpreting their relationship as some sort of rejection of Adam's WeHo roots. He took the kid to cirque-bizerk, after all. So while I, too, am extremely happy that Adam found Sauli in some Helsinki night club, I respectfully have to disagree with this analysis! Edited for clarity

It's so OT but Adam can't win with some folks LOL.. too little ,too much.. Funny I think Adam learned his lesson and isn't as affectionate in public as he used to be..IMHO Adam tries to keep his relationship with Sauli as private as possible ,even if it means going off to an island. I think they are an amazing couple with what seems like a great deal in common.. I wish them the very best! I agree, melliemom. Adam and Sauli have both been tight-lipped (sorry) about their relationship and I admire them! This is also why I do not do twitter and find myself self-monitoring here as well now. It is SO easy to get swept up in the vat of emotion and info/misinformation 'out there'. I just wanna play, live and let live.. there is definitely misinformation on twitter. but 90% of the information that makes it's way to this board comes via twitter. it may be a link to a news article or the such, but the link comes from a tweet. usually by the time something gets written up in an online publication, it is nothing new. all the breaking news seems to happen on twitter and you get the bad with the good.

sugaree I hope you feel better.Sending healing energy your way. OMG the new Adam pics are awesome. He really looks happy and content (like someone upthread mentioned). Zinna those smilies are too cute. OT- Re:Britney saw the GMA performance and I really couldn't believe it.I've always appreciated her as a dancer.BTW she has 2-3 songs in her new album that aren't bad. I LOVE the smiley with the paint can. How does that work? Do you have to type the letters in, or is that just what it says? (I'm so dumb when it comes to these thing!!) I watched a little bit of Britney Spears performance today, got interested in the segment before her performance where they showed her progression in the music industry, samples of all her previous work. Her performance was especially shocking when shown right after these old video's of her tearing it up on stage. Besides the apparent lip-syncing, the dance moves were stiff and uncomfortable looking. Even my 17 year old daughter couldn't believe it. Sad.... I know, I know.....not Adam.

Adam is still going to the same clubs he's gone to for years and still hangs with the same old WeHo crowd that he's been friends with forever. Just look at the pics from his Halloween party, New Years party and birthday party. The old gang was there and I'm not just talking about the Zodiac folks. Sugaree - I'm glad you made it through your ordeal and on the mend!

OT, I just watched the latest installment of RuPaul's Drag Race while the thread was comatose slow. I can see why Sutan and Adam have been such good friends. Sutan/Raja keeps upping his own bar each week. He is articulate, creative, fierce and funny. I bet the whole crew had a great time during GN despite the long hours and hard work. I enjoy learning more about the creative pursuits of Adam's friends. Having never lived in a city like LA, they have given me a sense of its pulse.

You're back!! Yay for you. Now take it easy and wallow in some pretty! Bet you kicked some basal ass today! Somehow, cause of your name, I dunno, I picture you going all Adam-on-Jonathan-Ross on those cells and saying to them: "LADY SUGAH: SHE SAY NOOO!"
You tell'em. :D
