#173Published on Sep 13, 2012 by crunkette Made for Adam's video contest! Adam was an inspiration for me to brave my first "not-halloween" cosplay... did it once and got bit by the bug. Now I've done Star Wars, Batman villains and heroes, Steampunk, 40s, I've even dressed as Lady Gaga for a music collector's show! But Batgirl is where it began, and it's still my favourite. I wanted this to have a lot more ACTUAL video in it, including my crazy friends, but unfortunately my days off just didn't line up with anyone else's (darn you shift work!), so instead it's mostly a last minute photo montage of some adventures from the past little while. I also wanted to throw in a big "F.U." to DC Comics for doing such a disservice to this character by kicking in a DC Comics sign, but again, the timing thing. I'll just have to re-do some other time, LOL. Trespassing is by Adam Lambert, from his album of the same name. No copyright infringement intended. Done for a contest sanctioned by Adam himself. Some photos by Larry Mahler and Ted Sali.

I want to promise you that I am a MUCH better dancer than it appears, lol. My sister Julie helped me film and edit it. We laughed so hard throughout the entire process! And I know Adam likes to spread positivity, as he's affected my life in such a great way! I hope Adam sees this and gets a chuckle out of it!
