If Adam gets into a habit of this, I would agree with you. But it's one time! He punched a ceiling, not a person. Maybe he learned from it and will move on. Maybe we should all move on.

So I did misinterpret your post. I agree with the enabling that goes on with celebrities. No consequences, therefore no reason to change their behavior. This just doesn't seem to be a pattern with Adam so I'm not worried about him at all. Yet. Just to prove that not every critic is my hometown is a dork like Moser there's this from the same paper: blogs.mcall.com/bill_white/2011/03/american-idol-2.htmlExcerpt: The other guy who keeps moving up in my eyes is James, whose post-performance demeanor was less cocky tonight, perhaps the result of off-camera coaching. His performances bring the same kind of anticipation -- that you're actually going to be entertained now instead of lulled to sleep -- that I felt with the more talented Adam Lambert. Happy Birthday KayKo!!

I think adam is very intelligent, usually very self disciplined and also IMO self monitoring. If he sees that the outcome of his behavior is troubling he will be the first to self correct, even if it has to do with drinking. Just my opinion

Does anyone have the balls courage to watch the TV entertainment shows tonight? TMZ, ET, E!, Insider, etc.
Going to read chunkey's recap now.

ah, the "gate" feels like old times...I'd almost forgotten what the roller coaster was like!
Gotta say that this isn't my favorite gate, though. I really don't think Adam is being portrayed as "badass" or "rock-n-roll" but rather someone who behaved, well, like a drunken ass. Thank you for that, Perez! Hey, it happens but let's face it, it's not pretty.
I don't doubt that the gist of the story is true but considering the source and the fact that in two years of stanning I've never read or heard of Adam behaving rudely, I'm just gonna chalk this up to a wild night gone a little awry. I do think Perez had a little too much glee in his voice when telling this story. He's a snake.

the more coverage - the better. Media is not going to cover any normal, nice, do-good stuff. They are out for "sensation". That's the game and it needs to be played. I am not saying Adam planned it this way, but the outcome is AWESOME! I really, really do not understand why to be upset instead of celebrating the fact that Adam's name is all over the world... Do we not want to see his name in press at all until the next album? The "motherly" discussion on if it is admirable behavior - is a different story. We all have various tolerance levels in this respect (mine happens to be at zero actually, i.e. I loose respect for people who act as idiots and justify it by being UI). and I am not implying that Adam acted that way at all. PH's account does not count in my book.
