Hi all again....thank you for the welcome  SusieFierce I love your gate, I'll treasure it coz I know it's very rare, only few and far in between  Hi all....de-lurking to celebrate my first 'Adam-gate' experience (I missed all the other gates - how many are there?)...the angst, the LOL, the suspense, the drama...i feel the bonds among adam fans (does that make sense?)....so i really love this forum because i can feel the love for Adam and for each other, I hope one day, I can be as eloquent as many of you, but for now, the only thing that I can write is: ILGNAFLSFM.....TY. ~back to lurking~ Welcome fellow lurker (which is what I am mostly). :-/ It sounds like you are a rather recent convert to the Adam addiction if this is your first gate. I was wondering what happened for you to "catch the fever"? I've been on board since Idol and so I'm always happy to find he's still adding avid fans.  ON PARTY GATE: I only read 2 of the articles. My understanding is that Perze wasn't even at the party. Are any of the articles mentioning that little tidbit or is it only showing up in the comments? (I'm sure the basis of the story is true, but maybe PH, shall we say, embellished! well, the first time I heard of his name was around June 2010, almost a year ago, so yay!! not that recent and yes, I was living under a rock, I was surfing through local tv at my friend's place, and I stopped at Ellen rerun for Robert Pattison ;D, not a fan, just curious...and I remember thinking: poor guy coming after RP, which quickly changed to: who is this guy who got more scream than RP! My friends who are avid AI fan, like Adam, but not Adam fans, showed me two youtubes videos to explain about Adam: the mad world performance and the AMA performance ;D so, long story short, I catched the fever when i saw the expression on his face on youtube during the CBS early show....how brave, how vulnerable, how precious!!! I was at a major turning point of my life and I drew a lot of my courage thinking about his expression at that time...i am inspired! Oh my, I think I write too much now, please shut me up...I am supposed to be a very good lurker :-[ one last thing tho, adam is more than "mad world' and 'AMA'..for me, I always relate him to one of my fav song title from green day: walking contradiction..he is! in a good way of course...he is wise but naive, he is fierce but childish, he is badass but sweet, he is manly but pretty, he is perfect but human....and the list go on. ~back to being a good lurker. |

I read an interview not long ago where Justin Trantor praised Adam's voice quite highly and said he was an amazing performer, but they're very different artists and there's room for everyone. It was only a few weeks ago, but it was an article that told about the genesis of SPW's relationship with Gaga. It was posted here, does anyone remember? In a Google search, I'm only getting articles from 2009 and 2010 for Trantor. I think the whole thing is lame and totally agree with PJD's assessment. There are no corroborating tweets that say anyone was mad and even the "wax girl" said he was so sweet. And from what I've heard about SPW, rowdy, loud, bouncing off the walls is what is expected from their audience. Was the dude singing Gregorian chants in this case or something? Thanks .. I guess I read the wrong article. This one is really good for Adam |
