An FYI for Phoenix ticket buyers. Ticketmaster says 10 Mountain time. Not sure if it's a mistake, since Phoenix is on Pacific time now. Be ready!!Not for sale yet. Guesss TM figured out their error. TM lists Mountain Standard Time - same as Pacific Daylight Time. |

Leila is from NJ. Adam may have had HighTea in NY with his mom. If she was there. She lives in California. Cassie, I can remember Adam making a comment about loving the afternoon tea in London!  This is harder to explain than I thought. I didn't mean yesterday. There are many places in NY that serve High Tea. It seems to me that Leila would be aware of it and Adam might have had HT with her in the past. I don't remember when I first heard of High Tea, but I have researched buying fancy hats for playing High Tea with my future GDs. |

I felt myself slipping back into #IAlmostBelieve mode again last night. But now, in the cold light of day, I'm back to my old skeptical self. Because of the Fan Video Contest. Here's why:
* The timing of it seems to me like he (being the sweetheart he is) is trying to divert our attention from any soon-to-come disappointment. Within a couple of days of the Idol "announcement"? Seems like diversionary tactics to me.
* The timing also has me wondering why he would put himself in a position to watch hundreds of fan videos if he was embarking on a brand new job AT THE VERY SAME TIME.
So I'm adding these two things to the list of mysteries that abound in this idol saga. Maybe someone else has answers. I sure don't.  If he was out of the running, how could he know these timelines? |

I think what helped the Idol singers is/was the the AI concert tours across America with the top 10.Then of course the top two got albums out right away and people knew them from the show and from the concerts. You could root for them,they became part of your life. There was and is a lot of support ,The Voice doesn't have that type of artist support But even so, how many of the top two do people even remember. Look at how many of the actual winners are even relevant in the music business anymore. Look at Cook - start out big and then nothing. I sure don't want Adam to go the way of Cook. Well, I can remember all of them, but I have watched AI every year and been to several of the summer shows. My mom watches every year and we call back and forth and discuss it. (which is the reason I will watch this year again) Her favorites last year were Jessica, Colton and Holly, in that order. I called to tell her to watch "Jessica Sanchez" on the fourth of July PBS special and she said "WHO?" lol There are so many singing shows and there have been so many seasons of Idol. The general viewing public moves on to the new contestants or the next show without thinking and the forget about the season before. |

Has everyone decided that Adam was referring to the Urban Dictionary High Tea? Seems to me this tweet makes more sense, if Adam was having room service in a NY hotel.
