Originally from UK and lots of Brits call dinner "tea Time". High or Afternoon tea would traditionally be around 4 pm. I think of it as china cup, with pinky held up and delicate sandwiches with things like cucumber. Most Brits don't do that but most like their "cuppas". I know places like the Ritz do something like that over here. I remembering a British co-worker mentioning going some years back. Funny, I've always loved the idea of high tea and recently bought a deal through Bloomspot for afternoon tea service for 2 in San Francisco.. like high tea. The name of the place is DarTealing Lounge and they only have tea service. The description says it includes bottomless tea, sandwiches, salad, scones with accompaniments, and an assortment of tea cakes, sweets, petit fours, and tea biscuits. I'm looking forward to it!  |

Go ahead and laugh. I can take it. I just hope he wasn't screwed over in any way. It's now Sept. 15 and we don't have any idea what "stuff" he held his schedule open for or what he was so excited about, but it does seem like is mood has changed. Though everywhere in NY, he looks fierce and gorgeous as hell, but is rarely smiling and he did not sound his usual self on that South Africa interview. It may have been being tired (he's done lots of tired interviews) or the delay, but his voice sounded more reserved than I've ever heard on an interview. Why are some people getting tweets? I'm been locked out of Twitter on every device, every platform on both browsers for more than an hour. Web Twitter won't even open and all other platforms won't update or open at all. :-/[/quote] I have had the same feeling, Susie. He is not his usual self.
