GUYS!!!! I got a ticket to concert at Grand Arena South Africa  I'll be in block G and the friend who helped to buy the ticket is now trying to change it to block H or J or K. I'm already besides myself... Actually, I wanted to be in the standing area so I could throw arms and dance and stuff (meaning cry my heart out of happiness), but when I realise my small size (I'm Asian) I'd better stick with the seated zone. I bet even the seated area get very liven up too? After all It's about Adam F Lambert! Now, step 2 is booking hotel room and looking for concertmate while I still have all my sanity ;D :Clap: :Clap: Happy for you ;D |

They did a livestream (that didn't work for most people) to show the new judges with Ryan at the first auditions. They used the contestants as the back-drop for the big announcement and for some of the pictures they sent to the press. Two years ago, by the time this happened, everyone knew who the judges were going to be. I guess Idol doesn't make a big deal out of it, until the season gets closer. I think due to the fact that the media has been covering the same judge's names for the last few weeks, it is very anti-climatic to make an official announcement as what's the point. Everyone already knows who they are - they might as well just show pix from the auditions tomorrow and release those to the media. Snoor - fest!
Would have been nice for Adam but probably better to shed the Idol image. For the longest time it was former Idol contestant Adam Lambert - it has been refreshing to see other titles before his name now in the media.
My thoughts on the positive Kelly Clarkson posts of late is this - Kelly won AI over 10 years ago and has only really started to stand out in the last few years. The first 6 or 7 were pretty quiet for her as far as radio and media go - Adam has only been away from Idol for 3 - 4 years and he is a media darling, known for talent and fashion and being one hell of a nice guy! Give Adam a couple of more years and he will own the world. I plan on being by him the whole way!!!

I think what helped the Idol singers is/was the the AI concert tours across America with the top 10.Then of course the top two got albums out right away and people knew them from the show and from the concerts. You could root for them,they became part of your life. There was and is a lot of support ,The Voice doesn't have that type of artist support But even so, how many of the top two do people even remember. Look at how many of the actual winners are even relevant in the music business anymore. Look at Cook - start out big and then nothing. I sure don't want Adam to go the way of Cook. |
