I am watching it right now...missed a couple of people as had to go out. Cody really seems to be an Adam wannabe/clone. Even sang Queen tonight...NO MENTION of A though...hahaha He has a nice voice but not the power...Don't know if that can be developed or if you need the genetics...

Watched the finale last night. I really do love Cassadee's tone. It is unique. I will give her album a lsiten and buy if the songs are good. I thought her duet with Avril was beautiful!

Just found out that when Cassadee sang on Jay Leno, Allison Iraheta (or someone who looks very much like Allison) was one of her backup singers. If it was her, sad that she didn't do better. I wasn't a fan, but I thought she was very talented. |

I wasn't a fan, but I thought she was very talented. Seems its confirmed it was her. Ricky Minor's band was the backup so looks like she's working for Ricky. They say she has a brother or sister who makes a living singing backup too. I think since Idol started that most songs on the radio have discernable words, at least more than they did in the 90s. Allison lost me when I couldn't understand her own songs whereas she did ok on Idol because they were familiar songs. |
