No doom and gloom, justing getting psyched up to do requesting and working oour fingers to the bone. Gotta do the radio games. Gotta tweet, gotta play the smash its or trash it games, gotta go onto the sites where it is on the play list and request, play whack a mole. Gotta watch twitter for when they do requests. it's a full time job. But if you all get to know your local stations and join in, Adam can be a major success.But Adam is competing against some heavy hitters, namely, Bruno, Kesha, Rhianna (all have new singles), One D, Carly Rae, unfortunately the biebs, now Psy with Gangnam Smokey -- ITA -- Adam has enough fans that if we all watch our local stations, every station will be covered. |

Just a reminder. This is a thread for daily news and discussion about AFL. How well some other artist is doing with their latest singe on radio or whether their work is any good, or whether they are any good as people .... those things are not Adam news. Their success or lack thereof does not impact Adam. If they choose not to graciously promote Adam as he has done for many other artists is not Adam news either. If your post is "off topic" it may be deleted.

Thank you for all the news and info about request for 'Trespassing'. I really hope this song is going to be HIT! *fingers crossed* And I just wanted to let you know - 'Never Close Our Eyes' was second on Óčko Chart here in the Czech Republic last week. ocko.tv/charts/ocko-chart-22bcd2c4.htmlIt was his final week on the chart, so we can't vote for him anymore. But I think second place is great! :D Thank you so much to everyone that voted! You guys were really helpful. Thanks again! And now, I hope we can see 'Trespassing' on radio in the CR soon. I'd hate to see you bash him then  His arrest was two years ago, he did over and above his community service requirements and hasn't been in trouble since (and hadn't been in trouble before either)...yet you say "probably still round" which I read to mean probably still doing drugs......which is an unfounded and somewhat slanderous comment IMO It's really a pet peeve of mine when people disparage other artists just because they have more success than Adam. IMO it reflects poorly on Adam and gives his fans a bad reputation. I don't like putting down other artists either,especially if they have talent like Bruno. I will disagree on who is more successful though. Adam has International star written all over him.. Bruno is more of a song writer/singer on radio success. JMHO of course. IMO Bruno is a great entertainer, and very popular singer and songwriter. Regarding his success -- the numbers prove he is far more than a radio success. His debut album has sold 6 million worldwide -- only 25% of sales have been in the US. It was #1 in many countries. He has toured the world -- and his tour was extensive. There is plenty of room for Adam to be successful without "replacing" anyone. I happen to be a fan of both Bruno and Adam and many other artists. has been much more successful than Adam. |
