Fabian Egger appears to be the drummer in this.

Published on Oct 4, 2012 by AdamLambertVEVOOfficial Lyric Video by Adam Lambert performing Trespassing. (C) 2012 RCA Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment This is FANTASTIC NEWS!!! I am floored... I check in here and almost by the time the ninjas work their magic Vevo was putting it out there. This is the fastest, and most responsive roll out I have seen. Agree, this is a VERY positive thing. Never heard of a lyric video, but this is the perfect way to get people to focus on the lyrics and voice but with the visual imagery to go with it. Well done:-)))))))))))))))))

BTIKM and NCOE were not the best favorites of fans. Cuckoo and Trespassing won our own polls. It was discussed that BTIKM and NCOE were chosen because they were "radio friendly". After TP my next favorite was Shady, then Kickin In and PTLYou and I have identical taste when it comes to the CD

I just lost an entire post by dropping my phone and having it shatter (this was probably a good thing b/c I can't shuddup), but I'm curious why lyric videos are so unimaginative. I'm a total typography geek, so I know how just great type on a screen can be so powerful. Standard bearers are the Van Halen vid for "Right Now," which somehow made a profound political and empathetic videos of the 80s from one of the most apolitical, hedonistic, and, honestly, sexist band of the era. How about REM's Everybody Hurts?. Then we have the whole typography of Relax from Frankie Goes to Hollywood becoming one of the most iconic uses of type in pop music history, and it was brilliantly re-created in Gossip's Move In The Right Direction video. So we get Trespassing with a muscle car driving? It's so literal--road signs. I know we have more talent on this board than what the label releases. And, wait, what about the vid a couple summers ago for Fuck You by Cee-Lo that was all type and simply the cadence (if that's what it's called) exprssed the lyrics so well it was laugh-out-loud funny. I never did see the actual vid for that song (much less the radio edit of Forget You), but I was hooked on that song and vid well before it was played on the radio.
I mean, just simple fades of Animated's artwork with the titles and Adam's vocals would be a much more profound visual accompaniment to Adam's music.
My point is, music vids don't have to be expensive to be powerful or clever (see: OKGo! sp? Not looking it up). And lyric vids can be beautiful, simple, and cheap. Where's the vision here?
