I don't know where else to go with this so I am bringing it here. PBS is doing a significant and horrific character assassination of Obama in what they are calling a "documentary" I will never, ever trust PBS again. I feel deeply betrayed. They are using classic emotion tactics to destroy people's image of Obama and build up the image of Romney, making Obama out to be an untrustworthy, bastard child, loner and Romney a well raised, trustworthy, man that everyone should look up to. I truly trusted PBS before this. I am deeply, deeply upset. As much as I would like to discuss this, I am going to ask that we pass on discussing the US Presidential election here. I will just add that this program will not effect the election. |

Is this the only time the Trespassing album will be eligible? Really, don't even worry about the AMA nominations. It is a popularity contest made into a TV show so Dick Clark Productions could make money. I am not even sure if they have eligibility rules! |

I must one of the six, because I have been requesting daily. If they are not playing the song , then peeps don't hear and can't request. Star 941Atlanta don't have a request thumb on their site. So I use twitter. Neither does Q100Atlanta, but I am requesting daily. There is a new station in Atlanta, top40, but I need to see the advert again. I think it's 90.1 or 90.5, but when I checked these were college stations, so I need to listen to the advert. They have TS, Adam L, Celo, Katy Perry, xtina all in the commercial plugging the station. You might be thinking of Power 96.1: www.power961.com , twitter.com/powerATL , www.facebook.com/Power961 Request Line: 404-741-9610. It's a new Clear Channel station that changed format to top 40 about six weeks ago. Also not on the Request Adam or Radio Request Info lists, but where "Trespassing" could fit, is Wild Atlanta 105.7/96.7 (simulcast): www.wildatlanta.com/main.html , twitter.com/WildAtlanta , www.facebook.com/wildatlanta Request Line: 404-741-1057. One of the DJs also gives his text number: www.wildatlanta.com/pages/JoeBreezy.htmlQ100 has a new, spin-off sister station, 97.9, but it mostly plays top 20 (with some new music thrown in). B98.5 ( www.b985.com ) has been a stable radio station in Atlanta for decades. Long ago it was similar to Star 94, then they started to mostly play oldies. But now I think they're shifting their format slightly to include more contemporary music. The station probably would have been a good fit for BTIKM. I don't know, they might consider playing "Trespassing." (I think after Thanksgiving they will only be playing holiday music until the end of the year.) In Atlanta (and everywhere else), I would focus Monitored stations. There are 11 Monitored stations in the Atlanta market. There are other stations in the market but they won't help Trespassing chart. Hot AC WSTR (The only monitored HAC station in Atlanta.) This is the monitored station who is most likely to play Trespassing in this market. There is one Top 40 station in Atlanta but they will probably very late adders -- it is a Cumulus station and they generally add hits only. Trespassing will need to be in the Top 20 on the Pop chart before they add it. Top 40 WWWQ-FM (The only monitored Top 40 station in Atlanta) A very, very slim chance of an add -- not a useful place to request. Rhythmic WWVA-FM The 8 other monitored stations will never play Trespassing:Christian WFSH-FM Country WUBL-FM Gospel WPZE-FM Regional Mexican WBZY-FM Triple A WZGC-FM Urban WHTA-FM, WVEE-FM Urban AC WAMJ-FM |

Q3, this is a bit complicated:
The physical EP does not come out until Nov. 6th. But we get an automatic digital DL on the 16th if we preordered the physical CD. So, does the physical CD count for week of Nov 6th or Oct 16, as surely that is the day we will be charged. :-/

did anyone see comments Bri just posted about Queen plans on brianmay.com? why does he have to be so elusive about plans that have to remain under wraps for now? doesn't he know we all are dying to know about any future QAL plans and will take any little hint as a sign? (sorry can't bring over from phone)

I mentioned this yesterday, but it may have been buried in other news . . . My local request station in San Francisco replied to my email, saying . . . "This is verrry early in the cycle of the 'Trespassing' single . . . and we are huge supporters of Adam." I have no idea what this response means. Should I wait and request later? Is it too soon to request? Do they have a schedule I'm unaware of? Is this all preplanned? Clueless! Was this Alice or Star101.3? If Alice, who responded? |
