Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, the bolded part is . I also think he was gently, but unmistakably calling Perez out. I do not care that he is a gossip blogger and he only plays by rules that are convenient to him, what he did after Adam has given him exclusives (IGB and the pink onesie interview) was a complete and utter betrayal. Remember, this was not a ~report from the party, this was a public dumping of contrived, ugly information days after the fact. There were many people at that party and likely many who got pretty wild (initial reports were about Gaga). For Perez to ~embellish where he acts like Adam interrupted some kind of prayer vigil and behave in a way that is contradictory to anything we've ever heard about him, knowing full well he'd be lighting a powder keg that is extremely difficult to respond to or refute, was a blatantly malicious act, IMO. I agree with you.. as I said a while back. Perez is the good ,the bad, the ugly, who has millions of viewers. He has given Adam a great deal of good publicity for his music and his charity giving . I don't know why some think they are good friends. Adam just has to know who Perez is..and not turn his back, because Perez given the chance for notority, will plunge a knife into Adam's beautiful back. Adam can't avoid this gossip monger completely ,because Perez is also good for business Talk about a "double edged sword"

This is completely OT, but was mentioned last night
On the Academy of Country Music Awards last night, Carrie Underwood performed, and I was so shocked when she rocked out with Steven Tyler, and they sang "Walk this Way" A really great performance, and Steven definitely still has it!

Adam is a kind of genius sometimes when it comes to some his tweets – you can interprete them in different ways or meanings.
I agree that Adam was subtly calling Perez out but he will have to deal with him in the future so I think they will retain some kind of fragile “friendship” or at least an "armistice".

I think Perez's storey did become a general news item, I even heard it on the little easy listening AM radio station I have to listen to at work. Every radio station DJ was talking about it. Adam's reply to Perez sounds to me like Adam is mad still at Perez for talking about it and making Adam look bad. I hope the next scandal like Charlie Shean or something will replace it soon so the DJ's have something else to talk about. Radio DJs talking about this is a good thing. Real reporters picking it up -- like Fox News, CNN, The New York Times/LA Times as news would not be a good thing. It is now too old to be a problem for Adam. The stories that crossover to real news -- Britney shaves head, get wasted and gets arrested kind of stories -- are usually bad for the artist. This one moved is staying online and on music radio and gossip/Entertainment shows. I guess everybody can have a different interpretation, but every DJ I have heard talk about it was making fun of Adam. I guess I don't understand how that is a good thing. Hopefully Adam can do something else and the DJ's will have something else to talk about.

Yeah I saw/heard ppl ripping her too. Srly it's gonna be fine. It's not that deep because *scandal* or not...not everyone is gonna like him. Not worth stressing over imo...

Of course, unless Adam clarifies, we'll never really know the intention of the tweet, and that is partly why I agree with SusieFierce that it could very well be a "gentle" message to Perez. I believe it is in the same tone that Adam has used in the past in other instances. I can remember a time or two when Adam has said things that on the surface mean one thing, but carry some underlying snark, and I often think he is very clever about it. It is not like radiatelove is a hard concept to understand or that it is difficult to find out its origin. I think the space and the question mark could easily have been a comment on the irony of Perez tweeting that statement just now in Adam's mind.
In any case, that is how it felt to me, but then, I come to it with a bias. Yes, Perez is a gossip blogger, but he tried to make himself sound like one of the cool kids, (at Adam's expense) by laughing at one of the wanna be cool kids with his "uninvited" comment. I noticed in the interview Adam mentioned that he had been invited to the party by a friend. I believe he wanted to make that clear since the stories ran with the crashed the party theme.
Does any of this matter to Adam's career? Not in the least.

from page 1 recap of what Perez said I don't remember Perez insinuating that Adam was on anything other than alcohol.... did I miss this? Perez does a weekly show on my local radio station (which I'm sure is actually national) called the Hot 30 *or something like that* where he counts down his choice for the 30 hottest songs of the week. He talked about the Gaga party on Saturday and never once mentioned Adam. Said the party was loads of fun and that's all he said. I agree with Q3 that it's a bit of a leap to attach some hidden meaning or rebuke to Perez regarding the radiate love tweet. Adam, IMO, has much better things to do than to sit on twitter and attempt a tit for tat snerk with Perez; not to mention Adam isn't known for being subtle when he gets pissed off at someone. He'd directly call Perez out IMO if he was put off by what Perez said. Adam does not tweet much at all, so his tweets are almost never random. It was nearly 1:00 a.m.; he doesn't follow that many people, so I'm sure he isn't "sitting around on Twitter," but he can glance at his feed. I mean, that's why it's there. And yes, Perez touting such a phrase that is completely contradictory to his recent behavior would be enough to make most people choke out a WTF?? If Adam tweeted 20 times a day, I'd give you that a response is just a response, but he doesn't come anywhere near that and he also is well aware that many attach hidden meaning to his tweets all the time. I mean, look at the flail "Happy Sunday, all!!" caused. (It was mostly joking, but the point still remains, the less he tweets, the more gravity each tweet carries.) And he is also the master of sweet, ambiguous Twitter rebukes. The only thing missing from this one is a ~Honey and a passive-aggressive smiley.
