Today is October 26th, the biggest shopping day of the year is approx 4 weeks away & beyond that is the radio X-mas freeze. I beleive that my HAC station(MYfm 104.3fm) starts playing X-mas music on Thanksgiving night. I was thinking that we have less than 4 weeks for Trespassing(single) to make an impact on radio which would also equal album sales for the holiday season. As far as we know there are no more TV performances coming up so we need to use the PLL buzz before it becomes old. I know we are all voting on every poll & whacking away every night, but I think we need help if we are going to get radio to play Trespassing. According to all the data we are getting from the PLL appearance all those tweens & teens are great little tweeters & texters and we need them to text requests to the stations. Would it be unorthidox for the Glamberts to ask some of the other fan armies for help? Desperate times call for desperate measures. Like TLC sang/said, "I ain't too proud to beg". I was thinking of fanbases who have a connection to Adam like Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, 1D, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry. They have all met him or tweeted about him. I've actually thought about that. I've asked a friend who's into K-Pop (and likes Adam) for help with online polls a couple of times, and she's posted the info in some K-Pop fan blogs. I've seen a couple of Lady Gaga fans offering help sometimes. Bruno Mars fans like Adam's fanboying over Bruno, maybe some of them could help. And of course, right now many PLL fans would probably join us in our quest. Should we try to get other fanbases involved?

I'm thinking Adam pays a great deal,I'm sure ,to his management and then Adam has us the Glamberts and millions of fans around the world. I think for now It is what it is.. IMHO,I don't think getting other fanbases on board is a great idea..

It just dawned on me (I'm slow) looking at Adam and his friends, that all three have babies now. Uncle Adam and the Hot Mamas--a new group?

Okay twittervrese peeps. I can't seem to post on twitter at the moment. Does that mean I am in twitter jail. How long does it last and why does it happen? I'm not sure exactly, but I think it happens when you spam it, or however it's called... Some people on twitter even have their alternative accounts which they use when they're in jail... What on Earth have you been doing over there, Smokey :4OMG: Was it radio requesting?

Re: asking other fan bases to help Adam. I'm thinking PLL fans are a natural, but I'm not sure other artists is the right way to go--think of the reciprocity that implies--we may be asked to return the favor and I can imagine situations where that might hurt Adam. Plus who has time to do that--Like Smokey says, Adam requesting is already a part time job!
ETA:I'm not sure Adam has as many fans as we think. I was very surprised when the album debut number was only 177,000. I know many of us bought multiples. So, say Fans bought 3 each, and I know many bought more, so that makes about 50,000 fans worldwide. I know I like to think that all Adam's twitter followers would purchase an album, or even a track, but the numbers don't indicate that. I'm not knocking that at all, I'm just saying that maybe Adam has to grow organically (with our nudges). IMHO.

What is the "free app"? My understanding was that there is a paid app, or you can just use a browser for free (but put up with the ads). Are you currently accessing ATop using a browser and if so which one? Has your browser or iPhone system gone through automatic or manual updates lately? I asked Q3 once about the app and she basically said accessing ATop via the browser worked better than the app for phones on which a browser works well. I have an Android phone, so don't really know much about the iPhone. I use the FireFox for Android browser. It works well, except that entering text in replies can be rather tricky due to some resizing issues. I'm not sure if this is due to the ProBoards, FireFox, or the Android system. There have been some issues lately with the ProBoards in the past few weeks but I've not noticed any the last couple of days. You might ask Q3 about it. (ProBoards is the hosting system that ATop uses.) Hi - I used to use the free app for iPhone (which is unavaible now) to catch up on my phone (to avoid using so much data and waiting for gifs and pictures to load). Around the time of the layout changes to Atop in May, it wouldn't let me login any more. I could see some of the threads but it kept saying I needed to contact the site administrator. In the end I gave up :( And I don't want to pay for the new app which might have the same issues. I hope you find a solution Thanks, heathers and dancygeorgia!! I'm aware of the app but never tried it, I access the site thru Safari. Come to think of it, the only times I had problem was either at some places where wi fi was kinda spotty or the cell phone signal wasn't at full bars strength, I never had issue at home or places with strong wi-fi connection. Could it be something to do with the bandwidth??(question for the Apple techie)

Would be nice if we know when/where to tune in.. Anele Mdoda @anele Glamberts, I am chatting to Adam Lambert on the show today, hear what he thinks of the term Glambert. Anele Mdoda@anele Be as interested as you are interesting. South Africa · www.highveld.co.zaShe has a link in her profile! Highveld is a radio station that is co-organizing the concerts. Oh, that leaves the question 'when'...
