Don't remember when but it was discussed here as some were missing the wails and others liked the guitar better. In LITV I thought the moment was a bit odd but probably just a misunderstanding - mostly on Adam's part I guessed (the instrument on mind). All in all, in LITV the band including Tommy sounded fine to me, no complaints from me. I'm trying to remember when Adam did the wailing bridge and other than Napa, I can only think of Kimmel. And I agree, the band sounded great in Napa. |

Oops. Misunderstanding here. Yes, Adam said: 'Hit it, Tommy', but then Tommy didn't do it, hit it ( not like he normally does) , I mean, so I wondered why. That's all. I'm not sure what's being misunderstood in this discussion  I just figured Adam said "hit it Tommy" out of habit then realised he was on an acoustic and thought "oops", started wailing, rocker belting, incredibleness, etc. |

Tommy always looks a little bit out of it when he performs. lol I don't think he has a problem or something, it's just the way he is.  But IMHO (and I repeat, IMHO) Tommy isn't a very good guitarist. He's kinda average to me, and I've seen him making mistakes more often than not. :-/ Don't get me wrong, I like him and he's a great guy, but IMO he could improve a lot as a guitarist. I do hear "shit Tommy", though, but I have broken English, so I don't count. ;D Aaaand I do think Tommy missed something at the beginning of the bridge. But I'm not completely sure about that. |

Another reason, BE is often left out from the setlist. |

Adam said "Hit it Tommy " Yes, Adam definitely says "hit it, tommy". I have no strong feelings toward Tommy or any of the backup band/singers really. He seems like a nice guy who's loyal to Adam and his guitar playing sounds okay to me. Admittedly, I'm no expert, so YMMV. (The adommy cray are another story  but they seem to be less vocal lately. Or maybe I've just gotten good at tuning them out .) Anyway, just my 2cents, but I saw nothing unusual or off about this. |

I play guitar too.  I won't say I'm a guitarist, because my main instrument is piano, but I can play guitar too. I don't even reach average, though.  My boyfriend is a guitarist. |
