I didn't become an Adam fan until the Queenbert shows this summer, though. But that EMA moment was unexpected, and weird, and shocking, and wonderful. Did you make it to a Queenbert show? |

OMG, your memories of the EMA's Queen + Adam Lambert performance brought tears to my eyes. I don't know if I've shared my EMA memory with you guys... I was watching the EMA's with my parents on MTV, because I knew Queen was going to perform. Only, I had no idea who was going to sing with them. I knew nothing about Adam back then, so I don't know where my sudden flailing and berting came from... But as soon as the lights came on, I shrieked: "OMG!!!! THAT'S ADAM LAMBERT!!!! HE'S GREAT, OMG!!!!! HE'S THE BEST THEY COULD HAVE PUT IN FREDDIE'S PLACE!!!!!" And my parents looked at me like: "WTF????" Did you make it to a Queenbert show? Unfortunately, I didn't.  I started studying for my competitive exam in June, so I literally couldn't go. My greatest wish is for them to do more shows after next February (when I have the exam) so I can go see them live... I think I've watched every Youtube video of the shows, though. lol What??? you knew nothing about Adam a year ago and didn't become a fan until Queenbert??? You must be a very very fast learner because you always sound to me as if you were a fan from day 1, very knowledgable, understanding and reasonable Awww, thank you!!!  I have to say that I've never been a fan of someone like I'm of Adam. I feel crazy sometimes. So I guess I learned fast because I literally felt hungry for all things Adam. I devoured everything Adam-related. And I'm still learning. I'm just thoroughly in love with his talent and with his wonderful personality. :wub: |

By the way, the coverage of the EMA performance by the Spanish Rolling Stone was awful. Completely horrible. The headlines were: "Queen goes emo", and they said that no one had liked the performance, that it had brought shame to all Queen fans. I was like: "WHAT????!!!!  " After the Queenbert shows and the rave reviews, I left a comment in their Facebook about it. :twist: |
