He performed at a concert benefiting Marylanders for Marriage Equality at the 9:30 Club in the District last September. At the time, Lambert joked that if same-sex marriage was approved, he would wear a veil and garter during his next concert in the area. A date for that show has yet to be announced. I can't believe I've missed this... Isn't a garter usually worn on one's nekkid thigh? How presumptuous of the author to claim Lambert joked... I believe he was dead serious.  I remember I've read it. But I totally forgot about it. Looking forward to Adam's next gig in DC, though. :D |

I believe he was making reference to the fact that he could get married there and be like a "bride." Hence, the veil and garter belt. Then the "just kiddding."
