The DVD region stuff is something used by commercial companies. The DVDs we are working with are region free. However, DVD players in the US & Japan play a DVD format called NTSC while DVD players in Europe play the PALS DVD format. Unless you have a special DVD player, you can not play DVDs on your TV's DVD player unless they are in the proper format for your country. PCs however, can play DVDs with either format. I can easily re-cut the London Day 3, Kiev, & Moscow DVDs in PALS format without losing any quality. Although someone in QueenZone has already produced a Kiev DVD in PALS format. I can try to reformat the QueenZone London Day 2 DVD in PALS format, but it might not be as good quality as the NTSC DVD. This is because I don't have the original videos that the London Day 2 DVD was made from. I have to work with what I can rip from the DVD and it is lower quality that the original videos so any additional reformatting might be even lower in quality. I will just have to try and see what the outcome it. It will take me a few weeks to deal with the technical issues. Hopefully we can have things in place in time for Christmas. Several people have volunteered to help with the non-technical stuff, so you will be hearing more from one of them. If anyone wants to try downloading what is currently available and burn DVDs, feel free to send me PM if you have questions. This used be an issue with analog tvs and videos, but not with digital devices. I have never had any problems with region1,2 and 3 or area free DVDs as long as have area free dvd player, that will overrun area coding?? So you can also play them with your TV DVD player according to my experience, but I will double check. Maybe it is the case in Europe now, that you can play both NTSC & PALS format DVDs, at least with newer players. But I think there are still many in the US with older DVD players that will not play PALS format DVDs. Anyone know about in other countries?

It feels like they are so far away. It would take me months to want to get back on a plane. The confinement aspect just immobilizes me. I don't think I've ever flown without at least a liter of gin I've had some horrific post flight hangovers.
